What did you set out to do? We set out to demonstrate each shot
type and explaining what they are used for.
What problems did you have when filming? Some of our footage
had gotten deleted and certain shots did not have enough lighting.
How did you transfer the video footage? We have to import it via
USB ( Log and Transfer )into the Macs using Final Cut Pro.
How did you make the footage into clips? We had used Final Cut
Pro to put the footage together and make it look fluid.
How did you add titles? We used LiveType to create our titles and
we imported them to final cut pro to put on each shot type
Did you fulfill the criteria of the film? The criteria was not fulfilled
2. Continuity Task
What did you set out to do? We had set out to make a scene opening showing
a conversation between a group of people using certain shot types ( Shot
Reverse Shot ) and techniques to make it look like it had been professionally
edited
What shots and rules did you need to obey/use? We had to use the 180* rule
which makes the clips look like the flow and not just jump cut.
What difficulties did you encounter with filming? Making the mistake of
breaking the 180* rule which made our clips look like they’ve jumped.
How did you edit your clips together? Using Final Cut Pro and adding fades
etc.
Did you fulfill the criteria of the task? No.
What do you need to improve on for your music video work? Put more effort
into it and follow the 180* Rule
