Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (NYU School of
Engineering), recognized him for his work with its
Outstanding Electrical Engineering Alumnus Award in
1993.
The Polytechnic Alumni Association recognizes several
alumni who have contributed to the science and
technology world, to the school itself in its multiple
incarnations, or to its alumni association. It offers two
awards: the Distinguished Alumnus/a Award and the
Dedicated Alumnus/a Award.

direct result of the application of their skills, success in
entrepreneurship, or other achievements. Moreover, a
dedicated alumnus or alumna receives recognition for

effort.
Alumni award recipients must be nominated by the end
of a calendar year to receive consideration for the
following year's awards. Nominations must include a
detailed biography as well as the reasons why the
nominee deserves the award.
