2. Concept/idea
• The idea behind our ident is a stop motion animation
with the use of clay. The ident will start with a purple
monster made out of clay which will then melt and
then come back together again to make the E4
logo, and throughout the ident with the used of stop
motion animation, i will make the clay move by it's self
to make the E4 logo. The clay will be purple to match
the E4 colour scheme. There will be no narrative/
dialogue in the ident, the only sound which will be
used is music which will be played over the footage of
the ident. The only character/person shown in the
ident is a purple monster made out of clay. The whole
ident will be filmed on an empty table.

3. Why our idea is so good
• Our idea matches the corporate identity
theory of E4.
• our idea also appeals to our target audience of
16-34 year olds.
• Our idea is unique and different because
unlike the conventional E4 idents, our ident is
made using stop motion animation.

audience and from
our results we got a
clear understanding
of what to
incorporate in our
ident.
