2. Name
I have chosen the name Sound to be the
working title of my magazine. This is because
straight away the audience can see what
specific genre the magazine is and it also gets
straight to the point. It is also quite simple and
basic and so is effective as it would stay in
peoples minds instead of having a complex
name the buyers could easily forgot.
3. Genre
My chosen genre for my magazine is R&B/Hip-
Hop. I have picked this as looking at existing
products this genre is one followed quite a lot
in the music industry and so would get a large
consumer number and be popular. Also from
the questionnaire I did the majority of people
responded that this was there favourite type
of music genre and would be interested in this
type of magazine.
4. Target Audience
The target audience for my magazine would be
15 years to about 22 years. This is because
once again from my questionnaire I set most
of my responses were from this age range.
Also this kind of age group are the main takers
of the music industry especially from my
chosen genre and so would appeal to them
more.
5. Cost
The cost of my magazine is going to be £2.00.
My magazine will be issued weekly and so I
believe this is a fair price. Also from my
questionnaire produced I found that most
people would spend around £2.00 or upwards
so I believe this is a reasonable price.
