I am Humzah Al-Kindi and I am here to share my dream!
I dream to create software for small businesses in Pakistan solving their problems and helping them grow!
The idea I am about to present is a fulfilment of that dream, this idea solve a critical problem of small businesses in retail sector!
Lets first have a look at the idea and then we will discuss the problem it addresses!
The idea is simple carry your supply chain in your pocket!
How?
By using our cloud based supply chain management system that comes with smartphone apps!
***Drama skit****
with our solution you carry your entire supply chain in your pocket! (:
I interviewed small retailers in my neighbourhood as per this survey, on average a small retailer buys supplies from 15 to 20 distributors.
These distributors face 4 chronic problems that impact the growth of the entire sector:
Tracking !
Communication !
Paper Work !
Data Analysis !
In one line, their business is not real time !
We have a solution that makes their business real time.
And this is what we are doing, we are developing:
A cloud-based supply chain management system that comes with GPS tracking, apps, reports, support for surveys and feedback all in Urdu and English languages.
We are even shipping Free retailer app so that the retailers can contact distributors on this platform
Now lets discuss our business model.
===================================================================================================
Tailor-made cloud-based supply chain management system for small businesses.
GPS tracking of field staffs and delivery vans.
Complete support for Urdu and English languages.
Out of the box smartphone apps.
Built-in support for creating surveys and reports which allows innovative businesses to improve their products and find inspiration
Free order placement app for retailers to contact distributors on this platform for order placements and feedbacks.
===================================================================================================
Our business model is pretty simple. It a combination of flexible and affordable prepaid and post-paid subscription packages.
Our every new customer receives a 30 days complementary trial!
Based on the usage data we collect from the trial and customer feedback, we will suggest them the package that best suits their needs.
There are millions of small whole sellers and distributors in Pakistan. Out this huge number imagine if we get just a 200 customer signing up for our RS 1000 monthly subscription. We will be making like 200,000 a month. And getting these 200 customers out of the market of a million is not a big deal.
