recorded or live entertainment they also fundamentally help create
the film. It assist its budgeting, scheduling, scripting, casting and
more they usually look over the film when its said to be completed.

2. What is a distribution
company?
A distributor is a company or individual responsible for
the marketing of a film. They set the release date of a
film and the process by which a film is to be made
accessible for viewing, for example straight to cinemas or
for home viewing.
A limited distributor may deal only with particular
products, such as DVDs or Blu-ray.
3. Final product
We decided on making our product mainstream. This was
because it would attract more people and also due to people
wanting to watch films distributed/produced by well known
companies. Furthermore the more mainstream is the more
money they have meaning our final product would be
distributed to world wide cinemas.
4. Metro Goldwyn Mayer
We have chosen Metro Goldwyn Mayer to distribute our
final product. Due to them distributing thriller films such
as ‘Carrie’ and ‘Poltergeist’ due their plot and characters
being similar. Furthermore other distribution company
would be paramount as they distributed ‘Paranormal
activity’ also a psychological thriller.
