The question then arises “What is a body image?” Body image refers to how people see themselves and how they think other people picture them. However, young people today tend to develop a negative body image. Pressure from the same age group also negatively affects the self-perception of how young adolescents look like. I strongly believe that teenagers had better not form a uniform beauty concept about their own appearance only by relying on external factors.
