Mr Grzegorz Lewiński worked at the Treasury Back Office from 1st of April 1998 to 31st of
December 2006. In the beginning he was engaged as an assistant, then as an inspector, after that,
banking specialist and banking specialist supervising product groups – derivatives. Finally he was
promoted to the position of Head of the Treasury Back Office.
While employed at Kredyt Bank S.A. he gained wide banking experience in the field of transaction
clearing in financial market. He gained extensive knowledge in the field at banking which he
implemented in his professional activities. He was creative, opened to change, showed initiative in
problem solving both in day-to-day activities and in presenting improvements. He was opened to
innovation and he was given responsibilities.
He was willing to take on responsibility and possessed good organizational skills. He was willing to
share his knowledge and experience with other employees.
The range of his responsibilities also included initiating and implementing modifications of ICT
systems for automazation processes for Treasury transactions and minimization of operational risk.
He played an important role in implementing new systems for clearing Treasury transaction like
FlexCube and Murex.
He progressively added to his professional qualifications. During his time of employment he finished
his post-graduate studies Money and Banking from Warsaw University and wide range of other
courses in the field of banking, money and capital market and accounting.
He received a Banking Employee Diploma from the Polish Bank Association.
In order to raise his project management skills he completed post-graduate studies in Project
Management at the Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management in Warsaw. The
studies was fully financed in recognition of excellent work, involvement, creativity, willingness to
take responsibility and working in Kredyt Bank’s interest.
He was a disciplined and friendly employee, willing to help others. He possessed the ability to work
in a team and had good interpersonal skills. He was a Team Head on whom I could completely
depend. As a result I could delegate part of my responsibilities to him such as those related to the
position of Treasury Back Office Director.
The above mentioned characteristics and skills together with a good knowledge of English resulted in
him being a key employee in the Treasury Back Office.
