My Civilization:Ancient Greece
The Research Journey:
My favorite part of the research journey was taking notes
because it was hard but I enjoyed it.My best research question
was about legacies because I had the most notes on it.While doing
my research, I found it difficult evaluating sources because it
was hard to find a book or web site that answered my
question.The most interesting thing I learned about the
structure of society was that men did things that women
couldn’t.I think that geometry is an important legacy of
ancient Greece because if they did not invent geometry nobody
would know about shapes.
Report Writing
I am proud of my report because I put a lot of effort in my work.
While writing the report, I became better at making a full
sentence.
If I wrote it again, I would improve my report by using more
books.
Archeology Presentation
I enjoyed making my artifacts because it was a thing I don’t
really do often.I found it difficult to finish making the things in
time.I am most proud of my coin artifact because it was the
hardest to make.
I enjoyed the archeology presentation because I could tell people
about ancient Greece.I found it difficult to remember the palm
cards.While preparing for this presentation, I became better at
writing, reading and finding information.

2. What else?
During this unit I especially enjoyed witing the report and I
took extra time to write the reference list. After this unit, I
might continue to get more information about ancient Greece
because it interests me.
