1. Ancient Civilizations Reflection
My Civilization: Ancient ChinaName: Jermaine
The Research Journey:
My favorite part of the research journey was taking notes and
reading too because taking note is goods and it helped me learn
about the four great legacies from ancient China. While doing my
research, I found it difficult to take notesbecause I needed to read a
lot of books but I like reading, is just to difficult .The most interesting
thing I learned about the structure of society was that men needed to
go to work and women needed to stay at home to look after the
children at home.I think that compass is an important legacy of
ancient China because if they didn’t have compass then we wouldn’t
know how to travel (so I think the compass is important).
Report Writing
I am proud of my report because my report has a lot of information
that’s why I’m proud of my report. While writing the report, I became
better at reading spelling and writing. If I wrote it again, I would
improve my report by writing even more information.
Archeology Presentation
I found it difficult because the people weredigging when I was
talkingso they don’t listen to what I said.I am most proud of
myartifacts becausethey looked real.I didn’t enjoy the archeology
presentation because I had a headache on that day.I found it difficult
to present because I was afraid that I would say some words wrong.
While preparing for this presentation, I became better at reading.
What else?
During this unit I especially enjoyed making my timeline.I took extra
time to make the timeline because I want to finish it well. After this
unit, I might continue to do some of this research againbecause this
unit is fun and I can learn more about history.
