The show Friends can be recognized and referenced across the country amongst almost every age group. The show features a group of six friends
who face the struggles of dating, friendship, and life as young adults. One of the most relatable aspects of the show is the dynamic of the friend group.
It seems that everyone can relate to having a friend similar to those on the show. Amongst these sixfriends, the "jokester" is Chandler Bing, played by
actor Matthew Perry. Chandler was born in 1968, making him 26 in the pilot episode and 36 in the show's finale. He is the son of erotic novelist Nora

Chandler's personality may be fun, but his psychological issues hold him back from being his best self. Chandler shows a fear of commitment, social

development, his character can be analyzed through the Myers Briggs Typology Indicator, Carl Jung's theory on femininity and masculinity, George
Kelly's Personal Conduct Theory, and Freud's Id theory.
Chandler Bing's quick–wit and tendency to play devil's advocate helps to define him as an ENTP according to the Myers Briggs Typology Indicator

consideration Chandler's personality characteristics and character progressions in order to make the best guess at his personality type. He is
extroverted, intuitive, thinking, and perceiving. The evidence of Chandler's extroversion can be found in his ability to come up with jokes and
sarcastic comments quickly. This outward thinking that he demonstrates is a tell–tale sign of an extrovert. Also, the fact that he has lived with

According to Comscore, Europe represents 32% of overall Internet searches with Google having 80% and Microsoft 2%. (Microsoft changes Bing 's
privacy policy, 2010). The biggest offenders for malware on the internet is image and video searches on the web. Sophos reports that 92% of
search–driven malware attacks is obtained from Google and Bing image searches. (Pearce, 2012). In a world of personalized online services,
establishing and maintaining user trust and responsible use of data is critical. Users expect appropriate and relevant content and advertising while also
protecting their privacy when they use any search engine. As driven by consumer privacy concerns, the government has asked the online industry to
examine data retention and protection policies.
The Court of Justice for the European Union (CJEU) ordered that search engines are regulators of processing personal data under the European Union
Data Protection Directive, passed in May 2014. (Abril & Lipton, 2014). This order requires search engines to remove links from search results
intrusive to individual's privacy rights under this directive and is viewed as a component of the "Digital Right to be Forgotten Act." The ruling raised
debate among the industry as to whom will assume responsibility for online privacy assurance and protection. Interpretation of the law has been

Investigation Of An Antitrust Violation Involving Google,...
The purpose of this assignment is to research a recent case of an antitrust investigation. I chose to research a current case ongoing in the European
Union regarding the investigation of an antitrust violation involving Google, an extremely popular online search engine. As per the assignment
instructions, the following paragraphs will address and answer the specified questions. Google is an extremely popular search engine on the
internet. In case you've lived in a cave for the past fifteen (15) years or so, a search engine is something a user inputs information into in order to find
specific information or web sites. The resulting "answers" will yield web sites that are relevant to the inquiry. In February 2010, the European Union
(EU) began investigating Google for antitrust violations due to complaints received from three competitors: a British price comparison site Foundem;
a French legal search site ejustice.fr; and from Microsoft's Ciao, by Bing (Alazraki, 2010). Google's competitors allege that Google "stacks" its
search algorithm so that sites that are sponsored by or affiliated with their competitors are "ranked" in a low position. That is, their results are listed
after Google's preferred sites (Lardinois, 2013). Currently, Google has a 90% market share in the EU, so the vast majority of the population is using
their engine. If they are indeed "stacking" their algorithm to ensure that only their preferred sites are displayed in the prime selections, then

SEO Fundamentals for Content That Will Boost Your Traffic
Search engine optimization, or SEO, has long been a staple website traffic. If you want to rank well on search engines, you've always needed to play
nice with the rules that Google, Bing and the gang have set out.
Recently, SEO has moved away from placing such heavy emphasis on metadata – those tags, titles and descriptions they loved so much. To some
extent, URL's are less important to, at least when it comes to keyword stuffing.
If you're creating content with the hope that you'll rank well in search engines, you need to be up to date on the latest practices. Here are some
fundamentals to get you started.
Keyword Stuffing is Dead
There once was a magical time in SEO realms where ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
You do want to use "construction crane" in titles and first paragraphs if that's your topic of choice.
This is not keyword stuffing. This is picking relevant keywords, and using them in the way humans would use them. This is the most powerful form of
SEO today: relevant content.
Write Useful and Relevant Content
Sticking with our construction theme, it's important that you don't just write a bunch of gibberish that contains "construction crane" keywords. That's
not content – that's keyword stuffing. The only way to rank on Google in competitive searches is to write relevant content.
You want your content to reflect a topic people want to know about. If someone is looking for "how to install a construction crane", your content should
be useful and insightful when it comes to installing a construction crane.
Ask yourself the following question in relation to your content:
Does this solve my problem?
Does it answer all the tricky questions I had? (does it go in depth?)
Is it a good enough solution that I would share it with people?
Is it interesting enough to share or are there better solutions?
If your content answers those questions, you're in great shape to have solid content that is topically optimized.
Stay on Topic
The last point about topical optimization is making sure you stay on topic. That sounds obvious, but it may not be.
For example, if your blog is

The Virtual Size The World Wide Web

The core or heart of Google is the simple need to access the most relevant, latest information in response to the customized search. This fundamental
idea has survived everything and still exists today in their philosophy. With technology breakthroughs at the time Google managed to provide the most
useful, relevant and reliable service stepping ahead of rivals. Marketing approach risks paid off for the most used engine when unlike competition
advertising plans google decided not to use the "sticky" approach which included filling the page up with adds and recommendations hoping people
would grow more attached. Google didn't include advertisements on their website, they purposely deviated away from that to keep genuine to the main
functional purpose which is providing people with better results. When you open Google's website, you're welcomed by a screen that's mostly white,
large colorful LOGO and not much else. There's a search box with two buttons under it. One to search and the now famous "I'm feeling lucky" button
which instantly leads you to the first site found for you without displaying the found results. As the "sell–per–click" windows crowded other pages,
google based their few acquired advertisements on search relevancy which gave you recent suggestions on what you seek. Search results are usually

The resolution disappointed consumer rights groups and Google rivals such as Microsoft, which had lodged complaints with regulators in the

aristocratic domination of a specific product or service by one essence. It usually associates with a control by a business organization. A classic
example of a monopoly would be Microsoft. Oligopoly is a relevant term in which a product or service is managed by a small group of large
business organizations. Generally, economists come to the same agreement that monopoly is in fact corrupting and damaging. A monopoly weakens
the free market moderation which in turn leads to a crippled economy. This is how the progress for capitalism is supported. The outcomes of
oligopolies can turn out the same way but since there is a small group of large corporations, the competition is the key to preventing the disadvantages
that can easily happen under monopolistic control. Monopoly opens doors wide for anti–competitive practices.

If you have a website or a blog that is associated with your brand and the app profile page, this is even better.
The higher the visibility of the profile page of your mobile application or the more listings it gets on relevant search result regarding the keywords and
category or your application, the higher the downloads and users your application will get.
Below are some Search Engine Optimization tips to help mobile app development company and app developers increase the search engine ranking of
their mobile application:
The Title of Your App's Profile or Landing Page
One great way to increase the search engine ranking of your mobile app is via the title of your app's landing or profile page. Search engines use
title tags to display pages in search results. The title is page description your browsers displays at the top of a webpage. These title tags let search
users and spiders know what your page is all about. Search engines have a limit on the number of characters they display, Google display only fifty to
sixty characters of your page's title tag. This means you have only 60 characters for the description of your app's landing page. So you have to keep
the description short, relevant and compelling.

An Analysis of Google
An Analysis of Google
A)Google's two–sided platform concentrates on products and services that unite users in the network. The triumvirate of Schmidt, Brin and Page has
the CEO and two presidents orchestrating (in Schmidt's own words) a kind of "run–and–shoot offense" (Google:3), allowing the search engine to profit
both as a place where web searchers can locate information and a place where businesses can advertise their products. What began as a Stanford
University research project became an algorithmic dream, providing quick access to web surfers around the world and a new way for advertisers to
reach an audience. The two sides of the market searching and advertising have same–side network effects as well as cross–side network effects. The
same side network effects may be measured by the amount of users who rely on Google to provide them with web content. Google has secured more
market share than any other search engine in the world. The same side effects, therefore, are greater user numbers for Google and greater desire for
content providers to be seen and/or located by Google. The cross–side network effect may be measured by the draw such users have on advertisers. The
more user numbers grow, the more interest Google is to advertisers looking to capitalize on the network market. Google Search Engine Marketing, for
example, allows advertisers to pay the search engine to list its ads with a Cost per Click (CPC) model such as AdWords and AdSense. One of the
benefits

Nielsen 's 7th Heuristic : Flexibility And Efficiency Of Use
Part 1 – Jakob Nielsen's 7th Heuristic: "Flexibility and Efficiency of Use"
The Human–computer interaction (HCI) has evolved through the years, which has set the stage for users to participate in the interaction design
process. With the participation of end users, corporations have listened to their issues and concerns in developing a user friendly product to
accommodate most, if not all of their preferences and suggestions. This paper will define and discuss the Human–computer interaction (HCI), Jakob
Nielson's 7th heuristic, and introduce three interactive items correlating between the two. Applying the HCI and Neilson's first heuristic with the three
interactive items from the user's point of view and experience will produce an applicable feedback to focus on further development of future
components of similar stature.
The Jakob Nielsen's 7th heuristic is "flexibility and efficiency of use". Accelerators –– unseen by the novice user –– may often speed up the interaction
for the expert user such that the system can cater to both inexperienced and experienced users. Allow users to tailor frequent actions (Nielsen, J.
1995). In retrospect novice and expert users use systems in a slightly differently, receive the same results. Therefore, the system should be easy and
efficient to use by both novices and experts alike. Systems provide "accelerators" for expert users to proficiently navigate the applications to complete
the most recurrent tasks. An example of accelerators can

Monica Bing Research Paper
Monica Bing (nГ©e Geller) was born to Jack and Judy Geller where she was raised in Long Island, New York with her older brother Ross. Since
her childhood, Monica has always been in the shadow of Ross to both of her parents, especially their mother. Her mother to this day still knocks
Monica down for everything she does and does not do. Nothing is simply good enough for her mom. Due to her being in the dark, Monica took out
her loneliness with the help of food. This then resulted in Monica becoming "Fat Monica." While in high school Monica became best friends with the
most popular girl in school, Rachel Green. Rachel never saw Monica for her weight and this was the first time in a while that Monica felt good as

Due to Monica believing that her parents only cared for Ross, Monica always felt alone until food came into the picture. At any moment food was
around she would engulf it. For instance, Ross once said that if he did not eat fast he was not able to eat at all. Additionally, food was a void to
keep her sad emotions in. For example, she had a flashback of when one of her boyfriend's got called into work after she worked long and hard on
a dinner that she prepared for him. Instead of sulking around, she just began eating. Furthermore, eating was not the only problem that Monica has
to deal with. Similar to her mother, Monica has always had a problem with being a perfectionist. She has constantly made cleaning a sport and fun
activity to spend her time. Sometimes she rather spends time with her mop and cleaners than hangout with her friends. Also, cleaning does not just
end her perfectionist issue. Organization is the key to Monica. Without her labeler, who knows how Monica could function the everyday life.
When Chandler was looking for a job, she took it in her best interest to label and file jobs that he could possibly interview for. Chandler asked her
why she did that and her response was so that she could simply use the labeler. Likewise, she is always concerned about her precious ribbon draw.
Out of the blue, she will freak out if she has the slightest idea that someone could get their hands on it and mess it up. Additionally, she organizes her
towels into 11 categories. Is that not 10 more than needed? Furthermore, one specific rule that Monica has is that everything needs to be in place where
it was before and by that it cannot move a millimeter without her noticing a change in the room. For example, when Rachel moved in with Monica, she
decided to clean the apartment for her; it did not go that great. Rachel thought that moving the ottoman to make an extra seat around the table would be

Make sure to also keep your title and descriptions short and sweet, and utilize HTML5 or Java code so it's compatible with browsers like Chrome or

both sources. Finally, always check that your text fits the screen completely so mobile users won't have to become frustrated from zooming in to read

Google And Bing 's Search Tools

"Google it!". No, but really, Google it.
After analyzing both Google and Bing's search tools, I've come to the conclusion that Google just has more to offer. The tool that stands out the most
and gave the best results was the "Verbatim" option under "All results". When using it, Google will only display results specific to the user 's search
term or phrase. For example, when I search "Gerrymandering", no results containing synonyms, similar terms, previously used websites, or words from
the same stem will appear in my results. When searching for a phrase such as "Gerrymandering in Maryland", the verbatim tool will only show the
user results with that exact phrase. No results containing those words separated should appear. Another great search tool Google has to offer is the
"Advanced search", found in the upper right hand corner under the options button. This tool offers the user many ways to narrow down their search
to find the the exact result their looking for. Some Advanced search allows users to search by language, region, last updated, file type, usage rights,
site or domain name, where the phrase appears on the site, ranging numbers, and exact words or phrases. This tool is extremely beneficial to a
searcher who knows exactly what they're looking for, but can't find it in a general search.

It's Not a Search Engine..... 21st century man has pondered in thought on a very important question that unconsciously affects their lives at every
moment: Is the Internet our master, or a simple tool that we control? To the optimist, this very question is a complete joke. In their eyes, how can
such a sweet, innocent tool of exploring specific evidence, paying one's bill, and social networking become our master when we, as humans, created

We would rather have quick, sometimes even general answers to a question rather than use our creative minds to figure it out and retain the
information. In other words, the skeptic feels that the internet is "dumbing us down". So a point goes to the skeptic on this one. But optimists would
say otherwise. In fact, optimists feel that the internet is just a quick tool we use when we are in a jam. To them, they don't care if the internet doesn't
give them everything they need specifically, they just want some quick facts that they can scan immediately and make their lives easier. So for an
optimist, they would answer Bing's quote "It's not a search engine, it's a decision engine" by saying that it gives them fast, easy to understand

discipline to do at such at that particular moment, so why not get some quick facts on your info and move on. So a point goes to the optimist on this one.
Both sides bring up really good points to their arguments. But at the end of the day, the internet affects us by how someone perceives it as: master or

The Top Three Search Engines
1. The top three search engines include Google, Bing, and Yahoo. Google is so dominant that it has become synonymous with the word "search,"
which is illustrated by the phrase "Google it." It can become incredibly time consuming laboriously looking through page after page of search
results for that piece of information you need. I have found a couple of tips to best use search engines, which saves time by narrowing search
results to more closely fit what you are looking for. By putting quotes around an exact phrase being searched for, this tells the search engine to only
give you results that exactly match what's in quotes in that exact order. This gives you a more focused result. An example of this is "allergy free
dog". Another tip to narrow results is to search within a web address using the "inurl" command in Google. This allows you to search for web sites
with a particular word in their URL. For example, if you are looking for results that have "cat" in their URL, you would enter inurl:cat into
Google's search bar. Lastly, I find using the Ctrl+F feature is helpful in searching for a word on a web page. It saves a tremendous amount of time in
searching for exactly what you are looking for on a site. Just press Ctrl+F, then type any word you are looking for and that word is highlighted on the
page.

A Brief Note On The History Of Pay
Written Assignment unit 2
The history of pay–to–click begun in 1996, the first known and documented version of a PPC was included in a web directory called Planet Oasis.
This was a desktop application featuring links to informational and commercial web sites, and it was developed by Ark Interface II, a division of
Packard bell NEC Computers. The initial reactions from commercial companies to Ark Interface II 's pay–per–visit model were skeptical, however. By
the end of 1997, over 400 major brands were paying between $.005 to $.25 per click plus a placement fee.
In February 1998 Jeffrey Brewer of Goto.com, a 25–employee startup company later Overture, now part of yahoo, presented a pay per click search
engine proof–of–concept to the TED ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Prior to this, Yahoo 's primary source of SERPSadvertising included contextual IAB advertising units (mainly 468x60 display ads). When the
syndication contract with Yahoo was up for renewal in July 2003, Yahoo announced intent to acquire Overture for $1.63 billion. Today, companies
such as ad Marketplace, Value Click and ad knowledge offer PPC services, as an alternative to AdWords and AdCenter.
Paid Search Deliverables
In paid inclusion programs, search engines and their ad–feed partners guarantee that their search engine will list pages from the advertiser 's website in
its index. However, paid inclusion typically does not guarantee that the advertiser 's pages will rank high. At this writing, search engines Inktomi,
AlltheWeb, and AltaVista offer paid inclusion programs.
Paid placement programs, by contrast, generally guarantee that a link to the advertiser 's URL will be delivered in the search results on a matched
keyword or keywords. Location of the delivered link generally governs the fees, so advertisers will pay more to be placed higher up the page in the
search results.
Development of pay–to–click site through mode of payment
There are two primary models for determining pay–per–click: flat–rate and bid–based. In both cases, the advertiser must consider the potential value of
a click from a given source. This value is based on the type of individual the advertiser is

How to use the Bing Ads iOS app
The Bing Ads iOS app started rolling out to global audiences in August. Now, using version 1.4 since 2nd October, the Bing Ads iOS app has been
improved but remains useful as well as quick and easy to use. This is a guide on how to use the Bing Ads iOS app.
To begin with, you need to sign in using either your Bing Ads details or Microsoft account login details. Type in your login details extra carefully as
company passwords are usually long and complicated to ensure security.

You will be taken to an all account page that requests you should choose a Bing Ads account to find out more information. The accounts can be sorted
by performance metrics by clicking on the drop down. The metrics include spend, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They also state that the Bing Ads support team are at your fingertips when you use the app. The Bing Ads app makes it easy to manage a Bing Ads
account on the go and in real time. The app is consistent with the online Bing Ads software and displays the changes made on the app within the
online Bing Ads. It is a simple app to use so even inexperienced iOS users will be able to use it. It is definitely useful to have the app to alert you to
any issues within the Bing Ads system, such as a depleted account.
Unfortunately there are still a few issues with the app. The app still only has basic functionality, so it doesn't have any tools, reports or opportunities
sections, which are useful in the online Bing Ads. In addition, although the American support page appears to have been adapted specifically for the
app, other country support pages are redirected to the Bing Ads support pages which aren't responsive.
Despite the issues still to be resolved, the Bing Ads app does allow you to manage your PPC campaigns on the go as an app on iOS devices;
something that Google AdWords currently does not allow users to

That is, their results are listed after Google's preferred sites (Lardinois, 2013). Currently, Google has a 90% market share in the EU, so the vast majority of the population is using their engine. A classic example of a monopoly would be Microsoft. Oligopoly is a relevant term in which a product or service is managed by a small group of large business organizations. This is how the progress for capitalism is supported. The triumvirate of Schmidt, Brin and Page has the CEO and two presidents orchestrating (in Schmidt's own words) a kind of "run–and–shoot offense" (Google:3), allowing the search engine to profit both as a place where web searchers can locate information and a place where businesses can advertise their products. What began as a Stanford University research project became an algorithmic dream, providing quick access to web surfers around the world and a new way for advertisers to reach an audience. The two sides of the market searching and advertising have same–side network effects as well as cross–side network effects. The same side network effects may be measured by the amount of users who rely on Google to provide them with web content. Google has secured more market share than any other search engine in the world. The same side effects, therefore, are greater user numbers for Google and greater desire for content providers to be seen and/or located by Google. The cross–side network effect may be measured by the draw such users have on advertisers. The more user numbers grow, the more interest Google is to advertisers looking to capitalize on the network market. Google Search Engine Marketing, for example, allows advertisers to pay the search engine to list its ads with a Cost per Click (CPC) model such as AdWords and AdSense. One of the benefits ... Nielsen 's 7th Heuristic : Flexibility And Efficiency Of Use Part 1 – Jakob Nielsen's 7th Heuristic: "Flexibility and Efficiency of Use" The Human–computer interaction (HCI) has evolved through the years, which has set the stage for users to participate in the interaction design process. With the participation of end users, corporations have listened to their issues and concerns in developing a user friendly product to accommodate most, if not all of their preferences and suggestions. This paper will define and discuss the Human–computer interaction (HCI), Jakob Nielson's 7th heuristic, and introduce three interactive items correlating between the two. Applying the HCI and Neilson's first heuristic with the three interactive items from the user's point of view and experience will produce an applicable feedback to focus on further development of future components of similar stature. The Jakob Nielsen's 7th heuristic is "flexibility and efficiency of use". Accelerators –– unseen by the novice user –– may often speed up the interaction for the expert user such that the system can cater to both inexperienced and experienced users. Allow users to tailor frequent actions (Nielsen, J. 1995). In retrospect novice and expert users use systems in a slightly differently, receive the same results. Therefore, the system should be easy and efficient to use by both novices and experts alike. Her mother to this day still knocks Monica down for everything she does and does not do. Nothing is simply good enough for her mom. Due to her being in the dark, Monica took out her loneliness with the help of food. This then resulted in Monica becoming "Fat Monica." For example, she had a flashback of when one of her boyfriend's got called into work after she worked long and hard on a dinner that she prepared for him. Instead of sulking around, she just began eating. Furthermore, eating was not the only problem that Monica has to deal with. Similar to her mother, Monica has always had a problem with being a perfectionist. She has constantly made cleaning a sport and fun activity to spend her time. After analyzing both Google and Bing's search tools, I've come to the conclusion that Google just has more to offer. The tool that stands out the most and gave the best results was the "Verbatim" option under "All results". When using it, Google will only display results specific to the user 's search term or phrase. For example, when I search "Gerrymandering", no results containing synonyms, similar terms, previously used websites, or words from the same stem will appear in my results. When searching for a phrase such as "Gerrymandering in Maryland", the verbatim tool will only show the user results with that exact phrase. No results containing those words separated should appear. Another great search tool Google has to offer is the "Advanced search", found in the upper right hand corner under the options button. This tool offers the user many ways to narrow down their search to find the the exact result their looking for. Some Advanced search allows users to search by language, region, last updated, file type, usage rights, site or domain name, where the phrase appears on the site, ranging numbers, and exact words or phrases. This tool is extremely beneficial to a searcher who knows exactly what they're looking for, but can't find it in a general search. Google is so dominant that it has become synonymous with the word "search," which is illustrated by the phrase "Google it." It can become incredibly time consuming laboriously looking through page after page of search results for that piece of information you need. I have found a couple of tips to best use search engines, which saves time by narrowing search results to more closely fit what you are looking for. By putting quotes around an exact phrase being searched for, this tells the search engine to only give you results that exactly match what's in quotes in that exact order. This gives you a more focused result. An example of this is "allergy free dog". Another tip to narrow results is to search within a web address using the "inurl" command in Google. This allows you to search for web sites with a particular word in their URL. For example, if you are looking for results that have "cat" in their URL, you would enter inurl:cat into Google's search bar. Lastly, I find using the Ctrl+F feature is helpful in searching for a word on a web page. It saves a tremendous amount of time in searching for exactly what you are looking for on a site. Just press Ctrl+F, then type any word you are looking for and that word is highlighted on the page. 2. I searched the term "Organizational Behavior" on Google, Bing, and Yahoo. Paid Search Deliverables In paid inclusion programs, search engines and their ad–feed partners guarantee that their search engine will list pages from the advertiser 's website in its index. However, paid inclusion typically does not guarantee that the advertiser 's pages will rank high. At this writing, search engines Inktomi, AlltheWeb, and AltaVista offer paid inclusion programs.
