World high school summit

1. World High School Summit
When I was in high school. My class attended world high school
summit. This is very popular high school summit in Japan. As a
international student, I discussed with students from different
countries about racial discrimination issues and workarounds.
This is the picture of the place where world high school summit
was held.

2. This is a picture of when I played a Korean resident in Japan
role. White shirt guy(me) went for an interview but I couldn’t get
a job because I am non-Japanese resident. The purpose of this
play is to show how non-Japanese residents are discriminated.
They are very hard to get a job. When I played this role I learned
how much they are suffering.

3. This is picture of meeting. Students from all of the world
attended. You can see many students from other countries. I
participated as a representative of Korea. We discussed about
seriousness of racism, problems and solutions. And also talked
about the law of each country to prevent racial discrimination.
While the meeting I learned seriousness of racism. I was
nervous because there were many audiences just in front of me.

4. This is the picture of singing Michael Jackson’s Heal the world.
Heal the world is the song with a message of peace and human
rights. Woman who is wearing a white dress in the middle of the
stage is ethnic Korean singer Yun. We danced in time with
the music of her and sang together. Several audiences got up
from their seat and danced together. It was really a good time

5. Finally this is picture of saying thank you for joining our world
high school summit. For this world high school summit we
prepared for 6 months. After school I went up on stage with my
classmates and had a lot of rehearsals. It is really unforgettable
good memories in my life. I learned many things. How to
communicate, how to speak confidently in front of many people
and how to prepare systematically.
