How are animals adapted to coral reefs
1. How are animals adapted to Coral Reefs?
Fish have adapted their body shape so that it can fit into the nooks and crannies
that the reef boasts
Coral Poylps attach themselves to hard substances so that they can remain there
for their whole lives
Clown Fish hide in the corals and therefore are protected from other animals
Fish blend into their surroundings and use camouflage to disguise themselves
The fish have adapted to the reefs by living in places that compliment their
trates for example colourful fish live by the corals and more natural coloured
fish tend to live by the sea bed.

2. • A coral reef is almost like a city of living organisms
• Its made up of fish plants and many other creatures
• They are underwater
• They are home to about 25% of marine life
• The reefs grow best in warm, shallow and moving water
• They are full of amazing creatures including Turtles and Rays
• One of the most famous reefs is the Great Barrier Reef in Austaralia
