Born on in Februvary 1863 at Lakshmipuram
Palace.
Father : Vasudhevan Namboothiri.(Pattiāl Illam)
Mother : Bharani Thirunal Amma Thampuratti.
Called as " Kochappan".
Married Swathi naal Mahaprabha Thampurati.
Appointed as the principal of the sanskrit college
at Trivandrum.
Important works - Sāhitya Kutūhala,Vita
vibhāvarī,Angala Samrajya,Lakhu Panineeyam,.
Died on 1918.
3. SĀHITYA KUTHŪHALA
Collection of 14 minor works.
Published by R.Narayana Sastri by the
name Sāhitya Kuthūhala.
It consists 11 "Lakhu Kavya" ,one- act play
"Gairvaani Vijaya", Devi Dandakam,Prose
work Uddala Charitha.
4. VITA VIBHAVARI
It is a Khanda Kavya.
Theotechnique and erotic.
Published in 1894 from Pattambi.
"Chandrika" is commentery of Vita Vibhavari by
Udhaya Varma Thampuran
Divided into 4 cantos.It is called ' Yamas'.
It deals with the love of Radha and Madhava
during the 4 watches of the night.
5. ANGALA SAMRAJYAM
Historical Mahakavya.
It described the British empire in India.
It started in June 1897 & completed by the dawn
of 1900.
It contains 23 cantos.
Angala Samrajam means the British Empire.
It has a resemblance with Raghu vamsha.
6. LAGHU PANINEEYAM
• New mould of Panineeya Sootras.
• Divided into two parts-Poorva Khanda &
Uttara khanda.
• The work was completed in Augest 1910.
• Published only after one year.
