2. Audience feedback is very important as
without it we wouldn’t know what the
audience liked and disliked about the artist.
Feedback from piers and
teachers have allowed our
work to grow by allowing
us to know where and what
we needed to improve
We created a focus group
with people the age of our
target audience to know
what their likes and
dislikes are of the pop rock
genre.
When our
research isnt
enough we look
back through
our feedback for
what the target
audience like
then apply that
to our work
aswell.
3. By using facebook we have allowed
our family and friends (the correct
age range for our target audience) to
watch and comment on our work.
The video was pasted straight to all
our news feeds so all our viral friends
could view it.
4. We uploaded the video onto an account on
youtube for the whole world to see, not just
our facebook friends. Here is some of the
comments we reciever. Over night the video
was seen in countries as far as Hungry and
has now achieved over 500 views on
youtube.
Twitter allowed us to ‘tweet’ avril lavigne
directly with the link to our youtube page.
We are still awaiting a reply.
5. The target audience enjoyed the
video. Quote ‘very good’
Other members in the class believe we
could of explored camera shots and
broke Lavignes typical music video
conventions.
People found they can somehow
relate to the storyline despite its
extreme ending of death. Especially
the teenagers.
The audience enjoyed the acting and
has said the editing was quote ‘mint’.
This means good.
This is amazing feedback as we know we have
pleased our target audience!
This is an interesting suggestion and if we
and the opportunity to do this again I would
definitely consider as I love to be creative.
This is a major ‘yay’ for us as we wanted to
make the video relatable to younger viewers,
maybe as something to confide in with an
idol of theirs.
I'm super happy with this comment as I spent
many hour editing as I know the girls did on
Photoshop and Aletta with learning the song
and providing costume and make up.
