that the audience isof those withinthe age bracket16-24. Thisisdue to regulationsdifferent
countrieshave,forexample inEnglandthe age restrictiontoenteraclub is18 but inEuropean
countriesthe age restrictionisoften16. Thiscouldsuggestthatthose wholistentohouse music
have commoninterestsof dancing,clubbingon
weekends.The diagramcontainssome statistics
obtainedbyNielsenEntertainment,anditisclearthat
house music/EDMismost popularwithinthe age
bracketof 18-24. Thisresearchalsosuggeststhat EDM
ismost popularwithinamale audience asthere isa
higherpercentage of malesthanfemalesforall age

relativelylowpercentagesof EDMlistenersanyway.
Additionally,the diagramssuggestthathouse music is
