2. My beginning
After finishing highschool and applying
to university I felt a big hole, closing a big
chapter of my life and I also had the
longest summer before me so I started
thinking a lot.
First thought that came to my mind was that I need to find a job
to save money I did that and after one month I felt sad that I'm
not using this time the best that I can, so I thought about
changing my routine and applying to a project like that and in
few weeks I was participating in the EVS Erasmus Plus project in
Braga.
3. I learned about the project from my
sister's. They both participate in a
similar project like that but in
different countries sometime ago
and they really recommend it.
So I applied and in few weeks I
found myself in Braga, Portugal
working for an organization
A.D.O.C. Associação De
Ocupação Constante
4. Opportunities ahead!
In Braga
My project focused on working
in the garden. The
organisation was building the
sensory garden from total
beginning. So after coming
first time to the office they
explain everything to me and
also explain the basic of
gardening and we go to work.
5. After cutting everything my work
consisted of cleaning everything and
getting rid of weeds and trash and
trying to make this place more tidy.
After mostly cleaning the
garden I focused on making a
compost. I stared from
learning how to make it
theoretically and then I made
it in reality.

7. Our planet getting warmer and
Portugal is a warm country so I
experienced heat waves here.
So it was impossible to work
outside so I also focused on
working on social media,
making post and videos for
A.D.O.C Instagram. I was
making posts about
composting.
8.
9. My free time
In my free time I also had
the opportunity to travel
and see beautiful places
that I only dreamed about
before. I also had the
opportunity to attend music
and art performances and
make new friends.
15. If your thinking of taking
part in a project like that
my advice to you is that,
don't hastate and apply.
Going on a project like that
it's a beautiful opportunity
and great privilege.
Thank you for your attention!
