5. The third or Master Mason degree, represents the attainment of the highest rank in all of Masonry. Every Master Mason stands as an equal before every other Master Mason, regardless of position, class, or other degrees. Even where appendant body degree numbering might imply a hierarchy. A Betrayal of Friendship It focuses on the betrayal of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, by King Zedekiah of Judah. Everyone who sees this degree can’t help but be touched by God’s prophet Jeremiah.
