3. What is Google +
Google+, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and the
like are all social networks. They’re designed to
let you share up-to-the second updates, ideas,
thoughts, links and media with your friends and
the public.
4. How is Google+ different as a
social network?
• Google has integrated Google+ with its other
services (and continues to do so): Search,
YouTube, Gmail and more. Google+ is already
built into services you use every day.
• Circles differentiate Google+ from Facebook
by allowing users precise control over who
sees what.
5.
6. Concept of Circles
• One creates circles of people (groups).
• People you link with don’t know which circle
you have put them into.
• You decide who to share with.
7. Your Google + account
• As of January 2012, new users who signed up
for a Google account were automatically
registered for Google+ as well.
