CDNIS Policy: In Gr 6 max. 60 min/night, varies
Reading: 30 minutes a night recommended
The 60 minutes includes Chinese studies and instrument
practice. Advanced Chinese classes can expect to spend more
time on home learning than other students.
Usually less weekend and no holiday home learning.
Require completion, provide structured time and environment,
be involved but allow student to do the work
Ongoing work: portfolio reflections, process journals, blogs,
reading, instrument practice, mental math practice
