4.  Superficial
Causes Redness, Swelling, Tenderness and discomfort

5.  Partial Thickness
Causes skin to become red, raw, swollen and have
possible blisters

6.  Full Thickness
Causes damage to underlying tissue, nerves and
bloodvessels

7.  Radiation Burns
These can be cause by:
Sunburn Radiation Ultraviolet lamps
Overexposure to X-ray

8.  Chemical Burns
These can be cause by:
Acids & Alkalis Chemical Cleaning products
Industrial Chemicals

9.  Cold Burns
These can be cause by:
Freezing temperatures Chemical Regfrigerants
Foreign Objects

10.  Group Activity

Group 2 – Scalds and wet burns
Group 3 – Electrical burns
