1. Euan’s clothing: Euan will get
changed into his clothing before
arriving at mine for filming. He looks
like a typical guy which we hope
other guys watching the film could
relate to making them think ‘that
could have happened to me’.
Coat- He’s wearing a black coat
which is practical as the characters
will be camping outside. Black
connotes a dark storyline and that
something bad could happen to him.
Jeans- He is going to wear dark
coloured jeans. They will look casual.
Jeans are practical and ideal for
camping and going walking.
Trainers- He will bewearing red
trainers which could connote danger
for him (he’s the one in the trailer
which gets captured as he drops the
camera).
Emma’s clothing: I have all of the
clothing below that I will change in to
before filming.
Superdry hoodie- We thought
including a branded piece of clothing
would make our target audience
drawn to the film. Our target
audience research says they’re into
the Superdry brand. It would help our
viewers feel as though they can
relate to the characters if they’re into
a similar type of clothing.
Jeans- This looks casual and is
practical for going camping.
Converses- Much like the Superdry
hoodie, we decided to include a well
known shoe brand which our target
audience likes. It might catch their
eye and again make them feel as
though they can relate to the
character more.
Amanda’s clothing: Amanda will get changed into her clothing before
arriving at mine for filming.
Hoodie- She’s wearing a plain blue hoodie. This makes her look casual
wearing something she probably wouldn’t mind getting dirty in the
woods.
Jeans- Her jeans are a cream colour. Again this looks casual and
practical for going out and camping.
Plimsolls- These are practical shoes to wear and suit the rest of her
casual looking outfit.
Organisation of clothing:
We asked for the people involved to wear casual teenage clothing to make it seem like they’re ordinary people and that the
storyline that happens could happen to anyone. We wanted to make them seem like the type of teenagers who would go
camping which is why we chose certain casual clothing for them to wear. They needed to wear warm clothing to connote the
idea that they are going to be outside camping. Practical waterproof walking shoes are worn by the characters to suggest they
are going to be doing walking and will be outside instead of dressing up and going out for a meal.
