1. How does your media product represent particular social groups?

2. Our product mainly represents the stereotype in Dagenham, a lot of people outside of
dagenham associate the area with crime and disrespectful people. Our product backs up this
assumption in a way as it involves a woman being robbed.

Another thing the film indicates is that people in Dagenham are not very wealthy and
therefore have to steal off of other people as shown in our product when the mugger takes
the phones out of the bag to sell for money. Another thing our film shows that isn't to do with
the question is the fact that the woman matches the stereotype of being weak, vulnerable
and unable to take matters into her own hands as a male pedestrian has to take charge of
the situation.

4. Although this isn't what the question has asked it still has an important part in the film that
had to be mentioned. Our film doesn't really contain many social classes so there isn't many
to analyse, but our film contains a person of goodness as the try to help the woman, this
implies that people in the area look out for each other.
