It's never easy to grow up with a parent in the military. My dad has remained in the air force even
before my older brother and I were born, and before my parents were married. For my dad to be
deployed during the holidays is a usual occurrence for our family, and we've learned to cope with
keeping in touch over a phone and letters for months. In the year 2010, I learned that my dad would
be deployed to Kuwait in the Middle East for four months. I was currently in seventh grade at the
time, so the news was hard for me take in. Before then, my dad deployed countless times before, but
four months at that time would be the longest he would be away.
Watching my dad step onto the plane I try to hold back my tears, but fail every time. I know for the
next few months it will be a hard–hitting time for our family to go through. He'll be so busy in
Kuwait and our time zones will be unalike. I had to skip that day at school because of my
uncontrollable tears. The next day I go back, I have to remain focused on my work and not think
about if my dad made it there safely. When we hear from him that night later that he and his crew
landed safety, one extra weight feels lifted off my shoulders. But further extra weight still remains.
During this time in my life, I wasn't close to anyone at my school. I had a few friends, but no one I

If so, why? Explain with detail (and be honest): I have been banned once during my entire playing
time on Omega. I was temp–banned for 24 hours due to "Disrespect". A few other players and I
noticed that some of the new staff were using socialspy in a manner that we thought was more than
necessary and kind of obtrusive.We then started sending private messages to each other that in all
honesty, were quite rude but not directed at staff. In a sense, we were trying to see what we could get
away with as we thought it wasn't fair. The staff member however took offense and I was temp–
banned. In hindsight, it would have been better to report the said staff member instead of doing what
we did, but unfortunately we can not change the past. It was a foolish and in all honesty a quite

With my past experience at being staff I know how to communicate with other people on an
advanced level, I always understand people and why they did a certain thing. I will never leave
something unsolved, If there was an incident I will make sure that it solved or is passed to higher

pvp I try to keep my recording client up as much as possible because I never know when I'm going

I believe i could make a difference as a helper for Cyclone, theirs many reasons why i think i 'll
make a difference here but one of the main one is fairness to all players, i get it, you might dislike a
player or for whatever reason someone who wont comply with you, but it doesn 't mean that person
has to be targeted or forced to quit due to being hated on. If you are someone who is staff, you
should not just aim to ban/kick that person, theirs tons of things other players do and they don 't get
punished and when they don 't that is when unfairness comes in mind to other people.
Also I 'm alright at telling differences between hacks or just being great in combat, some examples
are head movement see how they move or hit you, some signs of hacks are the head only facing up

Being in speech and debate you have to have a quick response to whatever your opponent says, this
has proven helpful to the development of my problem–solving abilities. Being a quick thinker is
essential to speech and debate as well. This is quite an easy one to apply to the server as there are
many many problems that moderator's have to deal with. My second strength would have to be
optimism. As a moderator you want to keep up the happy, peaceful community that inhabits this
server, and if you were a pessimist as a moderator, instead of making people happy, you would make
them upset. Being an optimist, it is very easy to see the good in things and be a happy person whilst
on the server whereas it is very easy to get yourself down as a pessimist.
My third and final strength would be my friendliness. One of the aspects of being friendly is being
nice and both of those are major essentials to the server. If you aren't nice, a drama will ensue and

Since XenonHD was in my house a few days ago, I got to see what it's like to be a staff member and

I found that the servers were very addicting and had a unique aspect to them that most servers did
not have. Since playing the server I have learned that the economy is OP but it is reasonable. I feel
that the Owner and any other staff members involved have been doing an amazing job with keeping
the server populated and enjoyable. I also have talked to some of the people on the server and I find
the community to be friendly and very enjoyable to speak to. Also I have noticed that the admins
tend to stay away from banning and kicking players, they prefer to warn them so they have the
ability to fix the issue and still enjoy the server. Also I have learned that the server tends to try and
be helpful to any new players and not to be rude and enjoy each others company. Also I love to
participate in the reaction tests because they are fun to practice your typing

Another one was a small but fun server (this was about mid 2013) and I was a builder there, I helped
make the spawn area and if they would tell me to do something I'd do it (eg. help us build this sign
for the factions world). I then applied to become a moderator and they accepted me. About 3 months
later the server started to become inactive and I was one of the only few people there. I then left the
server for good because it was pointless, the owner and all the staff never even went on the server
and eventually the server was not updated and it's been left ever since. What makes you a
worthwhile helper?: I'm a worthwhile helper because I always play games like Creative, Build It,
Sumo and OITC where I always see people constantly swearing and being mean to other players.
I've noticed it to be the worst in Creative with all the rude roleplays, I've also seen cases where
people are in the hub asking for a moderator or helper to help in certain gamemodes and stop a
hacker, (In sumo I always see people hacking by using anti–knockback hacks). I can understand this
