Noun:-
 A noun is a naming word .It can be the name of a
thing, place, person, animal or feeling.
Examples:-
 Ali live in Australia.
 Ali is my brother.
 I love to play cricket.
 Pacific Ocean is very vast.

 Name of a particular or a specific place, thing or a
person
 Bilal,Lahore,Car
 Examples:-
 My name is Bilal
 My cousin lives in Lahore
 The color of my car is red
Common
Noun:-
 The common or general name of a person,place or a
thing
 Boys,city,country
 Examples:-
 Boys are strong
 This city is beautiful
 I love my country
Collective
Noun:-
 Noun which refers to group of things, place, animals
and persons
 Usually they are common noun
 Class,Army
 Examples:-
 My class is intelligent
 Our army is brave
 Our army is strong
AbstractNoun:-
 Noun having no physical existence
 We cannot see and listen this noun
 Honest,brave,good
 Examples:-
 My friend is very honest
 Ali is a brave boy
 He is a good person
Materialnoun
 Refer to people or things that physically exist.
 Example:-
 Most of the industries use fibre.
 Calcium is good for health.
 Cotton dress is cheap.
Possessive
Noun:-
 A possessive noun are nouns that show ownership
 Example:-
 This is Ali’s skateboard
 This is Ahmad’s coat
 Bilal’s homework was not checked
Countable
Noun:-
 Nouns that can b counted are called countable noun
 Example:-
 I saw two owls sitting on the tree
 There are four milk bottles in the fridge
 My father has two cars
Uncountable
Noun:-
 Nouns that cannot b counted are called uncountable
noun
 Example:-
 Stars are shining in the sky
 All leaves on trees in Pakistan
 I haven't got much rice
Pronoun:-
 A pronoun is a word use instead of noun
 Example:-
 He is a boy
 Ali is writing a book
 They are good friends

Personal
pronouns:-
 Those associated with a certain person, thing, or group
 He, she, him, they, we, us
 Example:-
 Bilal and Zeeshan are friends. They play basketball
together
 We will be late if you don’t hurry up
 We always help them
Indefinite
pronouns:-
 Indefinite word is use to represent whole group.
 All, some, any, several, anyone, nobody,
each, both, few, either, none, one and no one are the
most common.
 Example:-
 Would anyone like a coffee?
 All was not lost
 Each of the student attend class
Reflexive
pronouns:-
 Reflexive pronouns are used when the subject and the
object of a sentence are the same
 The reflexive pronouns are
myself, yourself, herself, himself, itself, ourselves, your
selves and themselves
 Example:-
 The dog bit itself.
 Are you talking to yourself?
 Ali still does not trust herself.
Demonstrative
pronouns:-
 These pronouns are used to demonstrate (or indicate).
 This, that, these and those are all demonstrative
pronouns.
 Example:-
 Shall I take those?
 That is a car
 This is a book
Possessive
pronouns:-
 Possessive pronouns are used to show ownership
 My, your, his, her, its, our and their are all possessive
pronouns
 Example:-
 Have you seen her book?
 I like her painting.
 Is this your wallet?
Relative
pronouns:-
 Relative pronouns are used to add more information to
a sentence
 . Which, that, who and where are all relative pronouns.
 Example:-
 The car that crashed into the wall was blue.
 I saw the dog which ate the cake.
 This is the book which I bought from market.
Interrogative
Pronouns
 Those which introduce a question.
 Who, which, what, where and how are all
interrogative pronouns.
 Example:-
 Who will come to the party?
 Which do you prefer?
 Who told you to do that?
Reciprocal
pronouns:-
 Reciprocal pronouns are used for actions or feelings
 The two most common reciprocal pronouns are each
other and one another.
 Example:-
 That can’t talk to each other.
 They asked each other the same question
 Both the friends like each other
Intensive
pronouns:-
 An intensive pronoun refers back to another noun or
pronoun in the sentence
 Himself, herself, myself, itself
 Example:-
 I will do it myself.
 The cat opened the door itself.
 He heart himself playing hockey
