• At the end of 1 hour period, students will be able to:
1. Cite and discuss social, cultural, and political change;
2. . Articulate observations on human cultural variations,
social differences, social change, and political identities.
4. SOCIAL CHANGE
• Social change refers to an alteration in the social order of a
society. Social change may include changes in nature, social
institutions, social behaviors, or social relations.
5. CULTURAL CHANGE
• The term that deals with the evolution of cultural components.
• Modification of a society through innovation, Modification of a society
through innovation, invention, discovery, or contact with other invention,

6. SOURCES OF CHANGE
• Innovation – social creation and institutionalization of new ideas.
