1. ESCAPE ROOM
AGE GROUP: This activity is for students aged 12-15, for all types of learners,
especially kinesthetic, the students are involved in teamwork. Time needed: 45 –
60 minutes.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PLOT: Energy Is Power Escape Room will take you
on a secret mission into our project! The escape room will be online – in our
Twinspace. Your task will be to decodeinteresting facts concerning ecology and
energy. This is the perfect way to summarize all the important information got to
know within the project.
INSTRUCTIONS: Energy Is Power Escape Room is based on solving by the
students coded tasks. The codes include Morse code, letter codes, rebuses,
Masonic code and QR codes. Each clue and code is different. The codes require
you to think differently to deciper or decodethem. You cooperatein international
Polish-Spanish groups, embark on a secret mission, becoming experts in the field
of ecology and energy. In the groups you have to think in a variety of ways to
solve the code. Some codes require critical thinking, guessing which letter is
behind a given symbol, etc. The participants of the game practice practical
problem-solving, while consolidating information concerning our project. At the
end of the game, the groups will present their solution in Twinspace.
