This document provides instructions for making an eco-friendly aloe vera cream. The ingredients include natural beeswax, sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, aloe vera pulp, and an essential oil such as lavender. The steps involve crushing the aloe vera pulp and other solid ingredients, heating them in a water bath to dissolve, then mixing in the liquid ingredients and essential oil. The mixture is poured into containers to cool and solidify before capping and storing.
2. Environment-friendly commonly refers to products that contribute to
green living or practices that help conserve resources like water and
energy.
If we want to live on a planet with clean water, fresh air and a
diversity of plants and animals, we have to do everything we can to
protect the Earth’s health.
we can ask as ourselves “how do the products I buy and the
companies I support, contribute to the Earth’s well being, as well
as my own?” Are these products good for me and good for the
earth? Are these products cruelty-free, meaning the ingredients
are not tested on animals or harmful to one’s health and the
environment?
3. Aloe vera is a plant that belongs to the family of
lilianaceas. It is a perennial plant, native to the north-
east coasts of Africa, where it arrived in Central America
from the hands of the Jesuit friars and there found the
most suitable environment for its optimal development,
always characterized by a dry and hot climate, evolving
until the species that is known today by Aloe Vera.
Aloe Vera is grown as a decorative plant, for medical
purposes in cosmetics and even for food in some
countries.
Brief history of aloe vera
.
4. The aloe plant is one of the most studied herbs in the natural products
category. Simply the aloe plant is natural and has incredible medicinal value and is
readily available. Furthermore, it is often called "the miracle plant" and is the oldest
known and the most used medicinal plant. It has about 200 active ingredients which
have been proved scientifically and numerous combinations of these ingredients
ensure a broad spectrum of activity against disorders in human health.
5. Aloe Vera has been used throughout the history of mankind, both in the treatment
of diseases and in the treatment of skin and hair.
In ancient manifestations of Egyptian engravings appear allusions to use as a
source of health and well-being, so Nefertiti and Cleopatra included it in their
beauty treatments.
Aristotle recommended to Alexander the Great the rapid healing of his soldiers;
Marco Polo pointed to his usual use in the Chinese court, as a relief from stomach
ailments.
The American Indians used it from conditioner for hair to stomach tonic; In India it is
widespread as a quick relief of skin irritations; the Arabs see in it a stimulating
moisturizing lotion.
This plant, although it has been very widespread in the pharmacopoeia and the
home remedies had fallen into a certain oblivion by the population, and it is not until
the end of the Second World War when the power of Aloe Vera is rediscovered,
when it is demonstrated that Hirosima and Nagasaki residents, who suffered burns,
after a treatment with Aloe Vera, healed more quickly and in many cases, without
signs or scars.
