Beyond the EU: DORA and NIS 2 Directive's Global Impact
Aljustrel - miner town
1. The vastness of its fields and the
plain as far as the eye can see
characterize Aljustrel, which is
considered one of the oldest
settlements in Portugal. It was the
Roman Vipasca, called Albasturil by
the Arabs from whom it was
conquered in 1234, granted by the
Order of Santiago de Espada.
Memorable for its mineral deposits,
it has shown metallurgical activity
since the Copper Age, which was
started in an incipient way,
approximately 5000 years ago.
