Objectives :
•Government of India changed “Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan” by a new
programme called “Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin)”.
•GoI set a target for achieving all GPs Swachh Status by 2019 coinciding
with 2nd
October 2019; 150th
Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji.
•To provide toilets, separately for Boys and Girls in all schools by
15.8.2015;
•To provide toilets to all Anganwadis.
•Villages to be kept clean with Solid and Liquid Waste Management.
•Creation of enhanced demand, convergent action through various
agencies and stakeholders with triggering through enhanced IEC, Inter
Personal Communication (IPC)

8. • Keeping considerable progress in Phase-I during
campaign period (45 days from 15th
August 2014 to
30th
September 2014), Phase-II started in October
and eligible list for construction of IHHLs prepared in
each G.P. of all Mandals and accorded admin
sanctions for 2 lakhs IHHLs in Phase-II out of that
about 50,000 online estimates generated and
sanctions issued.

Interventions by District Administration to
reduce construction cost
• Supplying of Sand at reasonable price.
• Supply of Cement at affordable price.
• Keeping Rs.1 lakh with each MPDO for meeting of
gaps in supply of critical inputs.
• Sanctioning of Rs.1 lakh to each Mandal Samaikya
through DRDA, to provide Rs.2,000/- to SC,ST,
SHG women as an advance to construct IHHL.

12. Swachha Guntur
• Supply of moulds to VOs for
manufacturing of cement rings.
• 54 moulds are supplied to Village
Organizations in 15 mandals
(Vatticherukuru, Thulluru, Amaravathi,
Medikonduru, Phirangipuram,
Prathipadu, Chebrolu, Bellamkonda,
Nuzendla, etc.,
• Per day 6 rings can be manufacture
with a mould. With this intervention VO
can supply a ring @ Rs.230/- Construction of Cement Rings at
Tadikonda Mandal under supervison
of Self Help Group (SHG)

13. Financial assistance to the poor households by mobilizing funds
from NGOs, NRIs, Industrialist and Philanthropists.
AMG, Chilakaluripet assisting Rs.2,000/- to each
poor beneficiary in Chilakaluripet Constituency.
With the Financial encouragement given by
AMG, Chilakaluripet about 80% of IHHLs
completed within 2 months.

14. Strategies….
• ASSIST NGO in Sattenapalli, Bollapalli and SERVICE NGO in
Machavaram, Bellamkonda & Piduguralla are motivating
beneficiaries and executing IHHLs
• NRI, Ram Chowdary contributed Rs.20 lakhs in
Vatticherukuru.
• NRI, Chalapathi Rao contributed Rs.5 lakhs in Rajupalem.
• Many of the public representatives like Sarpanches, MPTCs,
MPPs and ZPTCs etc., are supporting poor beneficiaries by
way of kind or cash.

15. • ZPTC, Vatticherukugu Smt.Seetha Mahalakshmi
have donated Rs.20 lakhs for Swachha Guntur
Project.
• Mr.Katta Ramesh, Sapancha of Abburu Village,
have come forward to takeup the construction in his
village.
• Jonnalagadda Sarpanch Mr.Alla Butchi Reddy has
rewarded Rs.1000/- to each IHHL beneficiary who
have completed construction.
