Teachers from the New Tech Network participated in an activity where they worked in groups to create rubrics. Each group started by writing the proficient column of a rubric. They then passed their rubric to another group who added the advanced column. Finally, they passed the rubric again to complete it with the unsatisfactory column. The groups then shared their completed rubrics and discussed lessons learned from the process. Next steps included sharing the rubrics more broadly and potentially compiling them into a draft document for continued discussion.
