KATA PENGANTAR
Kota Depok Dalam Angka 2022 merupakan publikasi BPS Kota Depok
yang menyajikan beragam jenis data yang bersumber dari BPS dan instansi
lain. Publikasi ini menampilkan gambaran umum tentang keadaan geografi,
pemerintahan, serta perkembangan kondisi sosial-demografi dan perekonomian
masyarakat di Kota Depok. Sebagian tabel data disajikan pada tingkat kecamatan
dan perbandingan antar wilayah kabupaten/kota di Jawa Barat.
Publikasi Kota Depok Dalam Angka 2022 dijadwalkan terbit pada awal
tahun dalam rangka mewujudkan Satu Data Indonesia dan untuk mendukung
penyediaan data perencanaan pembangunan di Kota Depok. Publikasi ini bisa
dibaca dan diunduh melalui website BPS Kota Depok (https://depokkota.bps.
go.id) tanpa berbayar.

Depok Municipality in Figures 2022 is a publication of BPS-Statistics of Depok
Municipality that presents various types of data from BPS and other agencies.
This publication provides an overview of the geography, government, as well
as developments in the socio-demographic and economic conditions of Depok
Municipality. Some particular tables are presented at subdistrict and district/
municipality level to compare between district/municipality in West Java.
This publication, Depok Municipality in Figures 2022 is scheduled to be published
at early 2022 to support Indonesia’s One Data and to support development planning
data in Depok Municipality. This publication can be accessed and downloaded
through BPS-Statistics of Depok Municipality website (https://depokkota.bps.go.id )
free of charge.

2. Berdasarkan posisi geografisnya,
Kota Depok terletak di bagian
selatan Provinsi Jawa Barat
berbatasan dengan Provinsi DKI
Jakarta memiliki batas-batas:
Utara – Provinsi DKI Jakarta;
Selatan – Kabupaten Bogor; Barat
– Kota Tangerang Selatan; Timur –
Kabupaten Bogor.
3. Pada tahun 1999, wilayah Kota
Depok terdiri dari enam wilayah
Kecamatan, berdasarkan Undang
Undang no. 15 tahun 1999
yang mencakup 63 kelurahan.
Kecamatan Tapos merupakan
Kecamatan yang terluas
wilayahnya yaitu 33,26 km2.
Kecamatan Cinere yang terkecil
luas wilayah yaitu 10,55 km2.
Enam kecamatan tersebut adalah:

3. In 1999, Depok Municipality is
divided into sixt Subdistricts, based
on UU no. 15/1999 it is covering
63 subdistricts. Tapos district is the
widest subdistrict with 33,26 km2
arean. Cinere is the smallest area,
that is 10,55 km2.
The six subdistricts are:

Kota Depok merupakan daerah
dataran rendah dengan ketinggian
77 - 150 meter diatas permukaan air
laut (DPAL), yang merupakan dataran
rendah – perbukitan bergelombang
lemah. Luas wilayah Kota Depok,
adalah berupa daratan seluas 200,29
km2.
Kota depok terdiri dari 11
Kecamatan, yaitu:
- Kecamatan Sawangan.
- Kecamatan Bojongsari.
- Kecamatan Pancoran Mas.
- Kecamatan Cipayung.
- Kecamatan Sukmajaya.
- Kecamatan Cilodong.
- Kecamatan Cimanggis.
- Kecamatan Tapos.
- Kecamatan Beji
- Kecamatan Limo
- Kecamatan Cinere.
Depok Municipality is an area with
average high about 77 - 150 meters of
sea surface Level (AMSFL), it is a lowland
area – weakly undulating hills. Depok
Municipality area is shaped in landby
200.29 km2.
Depok Municipality has 11

ULASAN DESCRIPTION
Kota Depok sebelumnya
merupakan bagian dari Kabupaten
Bogor. Kemudian, melalui Undang-
undang Nomor 15 Tahun 1999,
Kota Depok dimekarkan menjadi
sebuah Kotamadya yang otonom.
Sejak berdirinya Kota Depok terjadi
perkembangan yang cukup signifikan
dalam bidang pemerintahan,
dimana pada awalnya terdiri dari 6
(enam) Kecamatan. Pada tahun 2007
dimekarkan menjadi 11 kecamatan.
Jumlah wakil rakyat Kota Depok
Tahun 2020 yang duduk pada lembaga
legislatif, yaitu Dewan Perwakilan
Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) sebanyak 50
orang, dengan 37 orang laki-laki dan 13
orang perempuan. Secara organisasi,
lembaga wakil rakyat tahun ini terdiri
dari 9 fraksi.
Depok Municipality was previously
a part of the Bogor regency. Through
Law 15/1999, it was broaden into
an autonomous regency. Since the
establishment, Depok’s governmental
system has occurred a significant
developments. Depok formerly consists
of 6 subdistricts. In 2007 it was broaden
into 11 subdistricts.
Number of Representatives in Depok
Municipality 2020 in DPRD are 50
peoples with 37 men and 13 women.
Based on organization in DPRD there are
9 faction this year.

PENDUDUK DAN KETENAGAKERJAAN
1. Salah satu sumber data
kependudukan adalah sensus
penduduk yang dilaksanakan
setiap sepuluh tahun sekali.
Sensus penduduk telah
dilaksanakan sebanyak tujuh kali
sejak Indonesia merdeka, yaitu
tahun 1961, 1971, 1980, 1990,
2000, 2010, dan 2020.
Keenam sensus penduduk
sebelumnya dilaksanakan
dengan menggunakan metode
tradisional, yaitu mencatat setiap
penduduk dari rumah ke rumah.
Pertama kalinya dalam sejarah
sensus penduduk di Indonesia,
Sensus Penduduk 2020 (SP2020)
menggunakan metode kombinasi
yaitu dengan memanfaatkan
data Administrasi Kependudukan
(Adminduk) dari Direktorat
Jenderal Kependudukan dan
Pencatatan Sipil (Ditjen Dukcapil)
Kementerian Dalam Negeri
(Kemendagri) sebagai data
dasar pelaksanaan SP2020. Hal
ini dirancang dan dilaksanakan
sebagaiupayauntuk mewujudkan
“SATU DATA KEPENDUDUKAN
INDONESIA”.
SP2020 mencakup seluruh
penduduk yang tinggal di wilayah
teritorial Indonesia, mencakup
Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI)
dan Warga Negara Asing (WNA)
yang telah menetap atau

demographic data is population
census, which is conducted every
ten years. Population Census has
been conducted seven times since
Indonesia’s independence: 1961,
1971, 1980, 1990, 2000, 2010, and
2020.
The previous six population
censuses were carried out using
the traditional method, canvassing
each person door-to-door. For
the first time in the history of the
population census in Indonesia, the
2020 Population Census (PC2020)
used a combined method, that is
utilizing Population Administration
data managed by the Directorate
General of Population and Civil
Registration of the Ministry of
Home Affairs as the basic data
for the population census. This is
designed and implemented as an
effort to realize “ONE INDONESIAN
POPULATION DATA”.
PC2020 covered all residents
who live in Indonesia’s territory,
including Indonesian citizens
(WNI) and foreign citizens (WNA)
who have stayed or plan to stay in
Indonesian territory for at least one

Untuk tahun yang tidak
dilaksanakan sensus penduduk,
data kependudukan diperoleh
dari hasil proyeksi penduduk.
Proyeksi penduduk merupakan
suatu perhitungan ilmiah
yang didasarkan pada asumsi
dari komponen-komponen
perubahan penduduk, yaitu
kelahiran, kematian, dan migrasi
(migrasi internasional dan migrasi
risen antar provinsi). Proyeksi
penduduk interim 2020-2023
dihitung menggunakan data
dasar penduduk hasil perapihan
umur dari data Administrasi
Kependudukan dan SP2020
dengan menggunakan asumsi
Angka Kelahiran Total sejak tahun
2020 konstan 2,1 (sesuai Proyeksi
Survei Penduduk antar Sensus
(SUPAS) 2015-2045), Angka
Kematian Bayi (AKB) meneruskan
hasil Proyeksi SUPAS 2015-2045,
dan pola migrasi 2020 sama
dengan pola migrasi hasil SUPAS
2015.

census year, population projection
is applied to estimate population
for those years. The population
projection is an estimation based
on the demographic components,
such as birth, death, and migration
(international migration and
recent migration). The interim
population projection for 2020-
2023 is calculated from the single
age smoothed combined from
Population Administration Data
and the 2020 Population Census. It
uses the assumption that the Total
Fertility Rate (TFR) since 2020 is
constant at 2.1 (according to the
population projection of 2015-
2045 Intercensal Population Survey
(SUPAS)), Infant Mortality Rate
(IMR) continues the results of the
2015-2045 SUPAS Projection, and
the 2020 migration pattern is the
same as the pattern of migration in
SUPAS2015 results.

2. Penduduk Indonesia adalah
semua orang yang berdomisili
di wilayah teritorial Indonesia,
mencakup Warga Negara
Indonesia (WNI) dan Warga
Negara Asing (WNA) yang telah
menetap selama satu tahun atau
lebih atau berencana menetap
di wilayah Indonesia selama
minimal satu tahun. Pada sensus
sebelumnya referensi waktu
dalam konsep kependudukan
adalah enam bulan. Perubahan
ini didasari oleh UU No. 24 Tahun
2013 tentang Perubahan atas
UU No. 23 Tahun 2006 tentang
Administrasi Kependudukan pada
Pasal 15.
3. Laju pertumbuhan penduduk
per tahun adalah angka yang
menunjukkan rata-rata tingkat
pertambahan penduduk per
tahun dalam jangka waktu
tertentu. Angka ini dinyatakan
sebagaipersentasedaripenduduk
dasar. Metode penghitungan
laju pertumbuhan penduduk
yang digunakan oleh BPS adalah
metode geometrik.

Kependudukan
Populasi Penduduk Kota Depok
berdasarkan Sensus Penduduk
tahun 2021 sebanyak 2.085.935 jiwa,
yaitu penduduk laki-laki sebanyak
1.052.652 jiwa dan perempuan
1.033.283 jiwa. Jumlah Penduduk
Laki laki lebih banyak dibandingkan
penduduk perempuan dengan
besarnya angka rasio jenis kelamin
tahun 2020 sebesar 102.
Kepadatan Penduduk di 11
kecamatan bervariasi, dengan
kepadatan tertinggi terletak di
kecamatan Cipayung yaitu sebesar
15.371 jiwa/km2 dan terendah di
Kecamatan Sawangan sebesar 7.060
jiwa/km2.
Ketenagakerjaan
Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan
Kerja Kota Depok Tahun 2021 adalah
62,62%. Ini berarti bahwa dari setiap
100 penduduk usia 15 tahun ke atas
ada sebanyak 63 orang yang termasuk
dalam kelompok angkatan kerja.
Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka
(TPT) Kota Depok tahun 2021 sebesar
9,76%. Ini berarti bahwa dari 100
penduduk angkatan kerja terdapat 6
(enam)orangdiantaranyayangsedang
mencari pekerjaan (pengangguran).

September 2020 there are 2.085.935
people in Depok Municipality, with
1.052.652 men and 1.033.283 women.
There are more men than women in
Depok Municipality with Sex Ratio 102.
Population density in 11 Subdistrict
varies, with the highest density located
in Cipayung with 15.371 people/km and
the lowest density in Sawangan with
7.060 people/km .
Employment
The Workforce Participation Rate in
2021 was 62.62%. This means that out of
every 100 populationaged15years there
are 63 peoples who are included in labor
force.
Unemployment Rate of Depok
Municipality in 2021 are 9.76%. This
means that out of every 100 people there
are 10 (ten) unemployment.
