Measures of Central Tendency: Mean, Median and Mode
CAN THE BOOKS CHANGE OUR DESTINY?
1. CAN THE BOOKS CHANGE OUR DESTINY?
Dr.T.V.Rao MD
Destiny continues to be unknown phenomenon, which happens to every one of us with
passing of Time. As I was looking into thoughts on destiny I have come across a good
quote which reads as
Thoughts lead on to action; actions form habits; habits create character; and
character creates our destiny. – Debra Moffitt
If we keep the mind independent to action with its own thinking we reach no more to any
path to make our world creative and in this process we will be confused, as our lives are
created through with happening at each moment of life. The decisions we make, either
with conscious or not, create our future. We often think that moving into a new year will
automatically change our fate. But actions from the past will follow us. This is the law of
action or cause and effect if we follow human values and focus on uplifting thoughts,
words and actions, we can create a beautiful and meaningful life. Our lives are created
through each moment. The decisions we make, either conscious or not, create our future.
If we follow human values and focus on uplifting thoughts, words and actions, we can
create a beautiful and meaningful life this is guided by a deep spiritual connection to the
Divine, with society around us where we are imposed to live in spite of likes and dislikes.
The great men express their lives are linked to great readings and how they influenced
them to the present status of life. There are reasons to change our direction to correct our
fallings in life and for a better future. Many speak of cultivating for fortunes and destiny,
My view remains Cultivation is all about escaping from being trapped by thoughts,
phenomena and impulses to realize our original nature underneath all that. Over coming
from of thoughts needs courage and determination. Two thinks greatly influenced my life
one reading a book and listening to mind stimulating music however its passive, have a
great impact. In my trying circumstances in Profession with integrity I realized
competence in knowledge makes us better accepted by the many, the great book
Harrison text of Medicine has changed my future and density it initiated to getting a Post
graduate seat in reputed Medical College, and I continues to be competent where ever I
lived. However those who do not read anything get aged faster than anticipated Studies
have shown that staying mentally stimulated can slow the progress of (or possibly even
prevent) Alzheimer’s and Dementia, since keeping your brain active and engaged
prevents it from losing power. Just like any other muscle in the body, the brain requires
exercise to keep it strong and healthy, so the phrase “use it or lose it” is particularly apt
when it comes to your mind. Doing puzzles and playing games such as chess have also
been found to be helpful with cognitive stimulation. It is wonderful if you read more, you
are genius where you work. Everything you read fills your head with new bits of
information, and you never know when it might come in handy. The more knowledge you
have, the better equipped you are to tackle any challenge you’ll ever face. Additionally,
here’s a bit of food for thought: should you ever find yourself in dire circumstances,
remember that although you might lose everything else—your job, your possessions,
your money, even your health—knowledge can never be taken from you. When you read
a book, all of your attention is focused on the story—the rest of the world just falls away,
and you can immerse yourself in every fine detail you’re absorbing. Try reading for 15-20
minutes before work (i.e. on your morning commute, if you take public transit), and you’ll
be surprised at how much more focused you are once you get to the office. We see in the
Public transport people gossiping killing the reputation of many and never forget they are
killing their TIME With proliferation of Multimedia every moment is an opportunity to read
and makes your world innovating. The passion to read more will as great opportunity to
2. improve our memory, as Memory Improvement dependent on cognitive skills When you
read a book, you have to remember an assortment of characters, their backgrounds,
ambitions, history, and nuances, as well as the various arcs and sub-plots that weave
their way through every story. That’s a fair bit to remember, but brains are marvelous
things and can remember these things with relative ease. Amazingly enough, every new
memory you create forges new synapses (brain pathways) and strengthens existing
ones, which assists in short-term memory recall as well as stabilizing moods. How cool is
that?
I stayed in life to continue to write as more we read our creativity increases to be writer
however we need not write books, our simple thoughts can be converted to great
happening if you impress the Students as a teacher This goes hand-in-hand with the
expansion of your vocabulary: exposure to published, well-written work has a noted effect
on one’s own writing, as observing the cadence, fluidity, and writing styles of other
authors will invariably influence your own work. After becoming a Doctor I realized great
truth is our ignorance which is more dangerous to lives than our status and chair we
occupy, I tell many of students read a good book when you are helpless or you cannot kill
Time and buy a book whenever possible like any occasion to celebrate, give away to
good friends when you find that book is no longer needed for you. Never forget our
knowledge to improve, serve someone is immortal, rest are perished, keep updated on
many new matters or else we will someday become lame ducks in the Profession we
work.
WHAT I AM TODAY IS GUIDED BY GREAT BOOKS AND EVER INSPIRING
