Reliable Internet connection
• Non-reliable include:
McDonalds or Panera wifi (or pretty much any of wifi connections from
businesses)
Cell phone data service (especially if you are on the road)
Borrowing your neighbor’s wifi
Dial-up connection
DO NOT leave the browser window while taking an online test
• Just like when filling out an online form, leaving the page results
in losing your information
• If you need to use materials that are in your STInet course,
download or print them prior to beginning your test

@mrkampmann
Close all other applications not needed for your test
DO NOT attempt to save or print your test
• This will most likely result in getting a zero on your test
Double check all answers before moving to next page or
submitting test
• Scrolling on the page may accidentally change your answers
Take your test well before the deadline
If you receive an error message, take a screenshot
immediately

Switched to MERU Networks
• Capable of handling large capacity rooms
• Largest room of online testers – 150 using 4 access points
Large problem of Internet drops
• Result was incompatibility with network software and HP
wireless driver
• 2/3 of all students at time had HP laptops
Still some problems on campus
Currently do not recommend use of Locked Browser
