The area of figure F is 30 cm . If the dimensions of figure F
are multiplied by a scale factor of 4, what is the area of the
new figure?
Prove that if a parallelogram has one right angle then all its angles are
right angles, that is, the angles of a rectangle are all right angles.
The segment AB with A(5, –3) and B(–1, 3) is a diagonal of a
square. Find an equation of the line containing the other diagonal.


                  HOMEWORK
The volume of solid S is 24 m 3 . If the dimensions of S are tripled,
what is the volume of the newly formed solid?
The area of figure F is 30 cm2 . Its dimensions are multiplied by a
scale factor k to form a new figure with volume 270 cm 3 . What is
the value of k?
