- 2. Our honorable PM Narendra modi has launched a new scheme called “ SAHAJ BIJLI HAR GHAR YOJANA” on 25 september 2017. India is a very diverse country. We have celebrated 70th independence day recently and inspite of having world’s largest growth in terms of economy ,common people especially villagers still have lack of common facilities.
- 4. “ PRADHAN MANTRI SAHAJ BIJLI HAR GHAR YOJNA”. According to an AICTE survey approx 5 crore people in india don’t have electricity in their houses. So to provide electricity this program has been started. Electicity is a very basic need to human beings.Just imagine your one day without light,our condition will be horrible,so just think how the people are living without light for so many years.
- 6. They have assigned 16000 crore rupees for this initiative. They will use solar energy which is present in abundance.They will convert solar energy into electrical energy. The work will be done in four steps:- (1) PRODUCTION (2)TRANSMISSION (3)EXECUTION (4) CONNECTION They have appointed REC for this work.
- 8. To make this scheme successful involvement is must. We have to make people aware about this scheme. This is our responsibility, alone government cannot do anything,otherwise like many old scheme this will aslo sepulchered in the files.
