INEFFICIENT GOVT. LACK OF PROPER PLANNING

India,the worlds largest democracy,a leader among world
economies,powerful military power and touted to be a Global Superpower
in the future is right now the second most populous country in the world.
Due to a variety reasons , the country faces an uphill task of living up to its
expectations.
Shortage – be it a shortage of energy,food or land, is the biggest problem
that we face today.
Addressing this problem is the need of the hour.
This is a make or break situation.
Are we ready to take the challenge?
5. What we Propose:
To tackle the aforementioned problems, we propose the following three innovations
Multi Storey Farming
Solar Flowers
Electricity Generation Through Everyday Vehicles
7. India , although a leading producer of many agricultural products,
will soon be confronted with a big problem.
Where to sow the seeds??
This is because the mouths that need to be fed are only going to
increase .
The land that we possess isn’t going to get any larger.
We will have to produce more and more agricultural goods from what
we have.
And what’s worse . The land is shrinking !
Suppose there are 4 people living in a room. Another 4 people need to
be accomodated . But we cannot increase the area of the room . So
what is the next feasible solution? We build another floor!
This is exactly what Multi Storey Farming is all about
8. We construct a hollow building i.e. only a skeleton with two
floors.
The floors are built such that they are strong enough to carry
the weight of the soil but also facilitate proper irrigation and
drainage of excess water.
In this way there can be a 3x increase in the land that we
possess and naturally a 3x(or more) rise in our yield!
We can grow different crops on the different floors based on
the availability of light and the conditions required for
particular crops.
10. Solar panels are very large and bulky and they tend to take up a lot of space.
We design a Solar Flower to overcome this problem.
We build a stalk.
This stalk will have branches and just like a flower , it will have
petals.
Only these petals will have solar panels attached to them.
This will save a lot of space , generate quite a bit of electricity
and also serve as a shade in open areas.
12. We lay down metallic conductors throughout the length of the roads just below the
surface of the roads
We then attach a magnet to the bottom of the vehicle.
Then as the vehicle moves ,the magnet moves and s does the magnetic field.
Then according to the law that a changing magnetic field generates a current, a
current should be generated in the conductors below.
The conductors should be integrated with the local power grid.
The electricity that is thus generated can be used for Street Lighting , Pumping Water
etc .
This can help a lot in tackling the current electricity shortage.

4)Reduce carbon footprint and pollution due
to clean energy generation
14. These solutions can be implemented at the central level ,
state level or even at micro level.
These will surely help us in creating self sufficient ,
sustainable and healthy towns and cities.
The standard of life of the society will increase
substantially through the availability of sufficient food
and power.
This will have a tremendous impact on the coming
generations.

15. Challenges
A very large , diverse population spread over a vast area having varying
(extreme)weather conditions.
High amount of economic investment required.
Setting up of this project requires the help of highly skilled workers and
technicians.
Keeping up the highest standards in terms of technology will be crucial and
difficult.
16. Employing people with knowledge , integrity
and high skill sets would be the first step in
successfully facing the challenges.
Getting each and every person (from a layman
to the PM) to feel that he is helping in the
building of the nation .
