Matter is everything that exists and is made up of different materials, either natural or artificial. There are three states of matter - solid, liquid, and gas. Mass is the amount of matter while volume is the space it occupies. Water is odorless, tasteless, and colorless and can change states between solid, liquid, and gas depending on the temperature. Mixtures occur when two or more substances are combined and can be either heterogeneous or homogeneous. Mixtures can be separated through evaporation or filtration. There are four types of waste - organic, recyclable, non-recyclable, and e-waste.
