Current Designation
 Presently working as a Junior Engineer (Mechanical) in Oil &
Natural Gas Corporation limited (ONGC), B-193 platform (40000
ppm H2S) Western offshore, Basin & Satellite field since July
2010.

Job Responsibility
 Responsible for operation & maintenance of mechanical
equipments and have been participated in commissioning and
overhauling also.
 Worked on equipment like PGC (Process gas compressor), Turbine
generator (Dual fuel type, 1, 3, 7.6 MW), Multi Phase screw
pump, Crude Transfer pump, Instrument/Utility Air compressor (2
stage, reciprocating, screw), Sea water lift pump (multi stage
centrifugal submersible pump), Main oil injection pump
(centrifugal type) , Emergency generator (8 cylinder

2. reciprocating), Water maker (RO principle), Fire water pump,
HVAC system etc.
 Presently working with AGRU (Acid Gas Removal Unit) of 1
MMCMD capacity at B-193 platform.
 I have acquired experience on maintaining of Rig Barge related
equipment such as Jack up motors, Jacking unit gear box, Pre
load tank and void tank etc
 I am involved with maintenance activities of offshore pedestal
CRANES (25 ton).
 I have done overhauling of centrifugal (multistage & Volute type)
pumps, positive displacement like reciprocating and gear or
rotary type pumps etc
 I have been involved in maintenance of ventilation fans &
blowers.
 I have been involved in operation and regeneration of water
treatments plants i.e. is deionizer water plant, reverse osmosis
plant and softening water plant etc.
 Did activities such as alignment of pump and motor, checking, oil
pressure shutdown switches, Crosshead and crosshead liners
(housing without sealing ring) changes, Crosshead Couplings
changes, compressor drive arrangement’s oiling system’s (Oil
pump, priming tank with thermometer, oil filter in crankcase by
pass value in The bearing Houses. Check the cooling system
(strainer, solenoid valve, Regulating valve, Thermometer) Check
condensate drain system, uploading & Loading of air
Consumption.
Also did the work like maintenance of records, inventories,
handing over’s etc.
