We Felt:- 
“During a National Event Celebration, a Man came to our school and started to quarrel with his 
children and his wife. We found that he was drunken.” 
“Some students were irregular to the school, the teachers visited at home and found that in their 
families men were habitual of drinking; after drinking they beat their wife and children.” 
“ Some students dropped out from the school. When teachers went to their home, they found 
that the students were engaged in doing Ari – Tari works on Saries to support their family, as 
the economic condition was very poor of the families due to the males being alcoholic.” 
Community members and Students said that their father drinks heavily and pressurize us to stay 
at home and to earn the wages for the house expenses.
• We Imagined :- 
The students and teachers discussed and made four groups. 
Group One will Listing the students whom were facing the problem. 
Group Two will meet with the villagers door to door for awareness. 
Group Three will organise a rally. 
Group four will do a Role play for awareness. 
The teachers will support and guide in the tasks.
We Did:- 
Students made four groups and listed the parents, Home visits, Role play and 
organised the rally. 
Signature Campaign to stop drinking. 
Regular connect with the females of the families for support and oppose of Drinking.
Impact on the Society 
1. Students Attendance Increase in our 
school by 8%. 
2. Women are also helping men to quit the 
habit of drinking. 
3. The community decided not to allow any 
drunk person in the public events. 
4. People became aware about the loses 
due to Drinking and are trying to leave it with 
self realisation.
