2. Website redesign is much more than the visual appearance of a
site. It is also the functionality and the tone that we get from it.
The website I have chosen to redesign is Kijiji.com. With this
project I will be facing challenges within three categories. They
are Concept, Colour, and Tone.

4. Less is more. Looking at the Google website,
we can see that its interface is very simple
and effective. Would simplifying the
structure of the website benefit both the
user and the website itself?

5. The current Kijiji website does not have any
significant purpose other than to provide users
its free services. Should we add some narrative
to the new website to give it a more meaningful
purpose? Perhaps its goals or missions?

6. Testimonials, success stories, and
feedback from actual users promote the
website and its services. Will adding this
concept connect more users to the Kijiji
website?

7. Colour

8. Kijiji uses multiple colours for its logo.
Would incorporating these colours
more on the website be a better
approach for Kijiji?

9. Simple colours on a website can leave
a lasting impression on its users.
Should the new Kijiji website follow
this approach?

10. Sometimes adding a little colour to typeface
can help users distinguish the differences
between content. Would the new Kijiji
website be able to take advantage of this?

11. Tone

12. Interesting websites like Niice.co is full
of wonderful, interesting, and
inspirational pieces of art. Would the
new Kijiji website be able to give off the
same tone?

13. Welcoming and inviting websites like
GoDaddy.com easily grabs a user’s curiosity
which encourages the user to explore the
websites services and offerings. Would this be
approachable to the new Kijiji website?

14. Professional and clean. OSDNetwork.org
uses a very well organized grid system.
Would this give the new Kijiji website a more
professional feeling?

15. Now that I have shared with you the possibilities for the new
