2. Value Proposition
• We provide a website with list of tradesmen and a rating of their
previous work taken from customer satisfaction surveys.
• We also hold the payment for the work in escrow so the customer
has a level of guarantee that the tradesman wont get paid until the
job is done, but the tradie has a guarantee the customer will pay
without having to chase them.
• For a customer it provides a way to find a tradie and to know if they
are good or not.
• For the tradie they have a web profile that a customer can search
on & view that lists their specialty, qualifications and location
4. Interviews
• Three customers and two tradesmen were
interviewed and asked the following questions

5. Interview Summary
• In general both customer and tradesmen like the idea
• Both would want the sign up to be free
• Customers are a little concerned about the escrow service but
agreed it would be worth using. Tradesmen like the escrow
service idea providing it is backed up with a good mediation
policy.
• Tradesmen like the idea of having an online web presence
that is searchable, many dont have websites, some have
facebook pages.
• Customers want assurances that the rating system is honest
and cant be gammed by the tradesmen.
6. Conclusion
• The business model and the market need
seem to both be based on sound verified
ideas.
• As a group we think that the idea has enough
merit to proceed to a prototyping phase and
build a test version of the website.
