A. There a many different test that are chemical and physical that we could use for our soil sample.
One physical test that can be performed is a particle size distribution of a soil sample. For this test,
you get your sample of soil and place it in a jar. You then add water, a drop of soap, and shake the jar.
After a length of time the contents of soil will develop into layers. You would then see the makeup of
your soil with sand being at the bottom, silt in the middle, and clay at the top. You can then find the
distribution of the soil and determine the soil texture. This soil test could help a cooperative extension
service to determine if they need to add more contents like sand, silt, or clay so it will increase the
growth of plants on that particular area where the soil is growing. A chemical test that can be
preformed is a PH test to get the acidity of the soil. You test this by placing PH paper in soil
concentration and the color change will indicate the PH of the soil. The a high PH shows the level of
the base while the low PH will show how acidic the soil is. This is important to a recommendation

additional t– tests an increase 5% error increases with every t–test ran. An ANOVA, on the other

Since this graph does not show any outliers, I thought that the line of best fit should be polynomial
since the polynomial curve. I think this because the curve passes through most of the data points and
is the closest R2. These are a bigger difference in the value of 0,02 cm and 0,04 cm. I think this
happened because the holes that were being blocked by the overlapping of the cloth in value 0,04
were more than in the value of 0,02 cm. The more holes getting blocked by the overlapping of the
cloth will cause the light to not be able to pass through which then causes the results to be low. This

Although there Is only one piece of equipment needed to record data, the callipers are not something
you find in the super market. Due to the unique nature of the callipers it may be hard for schools to
purchase large amounts of them due to cost and availability, this is negative as it means that the
school or a specific class cannot do the test as a group so difficulties may arise such as incorrect
readings or incorrect methods being used. Another disadvantage with the equipment would be that if
a small number of callipers can be brought then a glass may struggle to complete the test as the time

Discretionary Accruals Models Audit quality is crucial for financial statements users and efficient
capital markets. However, how to measure audit quality properly has been a controversial issue,
because quality is not observable. With no uniform definition of audit quality, prior researchers
developed various audit quality proxies. Earning quality is one of the most commonly used measure
for audit quality. Client discretionary accruals, meet or beat earnings target, and likelihood of
restatement are all under this category. Among those, discretionary accruals are the most widely used,
because it is positively related to earnings management, which reflects audit quality. The purpose of
this review is to summarize the most commonly used models to measure discretionary accruals by
previous literature, and to help future studies to choose from these models when they are used as
audit quality proxies. Among all the research papers, there are two main methods to calculate
discretionary accruals: change dependent variables to accruals model (e.g., Jones Model, Modified
Jones Model, and McNichols Model) and performance adjustment measure (Kothari, Leone, and

The null hypothesis for this experiment is that there is no statistically significant relationship between
the metabolic rate of goldfish and their exposure to light. The alternative hypothesis is that goldfish
exposed to ambient light will exhibit a higher metabolic rate compared to goldfish that are exposed to
dark light.
Results
Overall 86 goldfish (N=43) were used in the experiment. Altogether, 43 trails (2 fish per trial) were
conducted in order to track the metabolic rates of the fishes. Differences in metabolic rates (with
respect to light exposure) were calculated by measuring the changes of oxygen concentration in the
water chambers where the fishes were placed. The change in oxygen consumption averaged
445(mgO_2)/(hr∙Kg) when the fishes were exposed to ambient light and 377(mgO_2)/(hr∙Kg) when

A chemical test that can be preformed is a PH test to get the acidity of the soil. You test this by placing PH paper in soil concentration and the color change will indicate the PH of the soil.
