It is a biennial Global
Investors' Summit held by
the Government of Gujarat in
Gujarat, India.
3. The Vibrant Gujarat Summit has become
a model for economic success for many

This event provides a great opportunity
to the State to display its strengths,
progressive stance, initiatives taken to
improve governance, investor friendly
climate and art & culture of Gujarat.

7. Vibrant Gujarat 2013 Summit was
held at Gandhinagar on 11–13 January
2013.
It is to be held at a special site
dedicated for Vibrant Gujarat
named Mahatma Mandir situated at
Gandhinagar sector 13.
About 18,000 MoUs were signed
worth 26,000 crore in the two days.
8. The previous edition of the summit in 2011
had resulted in about 7936 MoUs being
signed for investments worth $462 billion.
The previous edition of the summit in 2009
had resulted in about 4,000 MoUs being
signed for investments worth Rs 12,00,000
crore (about $243 billion).
The whopping investment would also result
in about 5.2 million additional jobs.
9. The Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2013 has
attracted some 20,000 participants from 8
Indian states and 150 countries. Japan and
Canada are the partner countries.
It is clearly evident that Gujarat is
definitely poised to become the Global
business hub of India, under the dynamic
and visionary leadership of Chief Minister
Narendra Modi.
10. Under his inspiring guidance, the State
of Gujarat has been able to create a
very positive impact on international
investors and has generated confidence
amongst investors.
