• DFC will cover an overall length of 1500 Km between

3. SPECIAL INVESTMENT REGIONS (SIRS)
SPECIAL INVESTMENT REGIONS (SIR) ‐ OVERVIEW 
Government of Gujarat the first state in India has enacted a legal framework for the SIR – The Gujarat Special Investment Region Act 
– 2009. The SIR Act, inter alia, provides for following matters: It enables the State Government to establish, develop, operate and 
regulate the Special Investment Regions (SIR) (for more information visit: http://www.gidb.org) 
• An Special Investment Region (SIR) will have as area of more 
than 100 sq. Kms and an Industrial Area will have an area of 
more than 50 sq. Kms

Government for establishment of production facilities for petroleum,

SCHEME FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO INDUSTRIAL PARKS FOR LINK INFRASTRUCTURE (UNDER GR DATED 20/10/2011) OBJECTIVE OF SCHEME • To identify the need to promote and encourage Industrial Parks by Private Institutions which aim at upgrading and improve the state of the Park QUANTUM OF ASSISTANCE • Industrial Park/ Estate will be provided an amount up to INR 10 Crore (USD 1.7 Million) for Link Infrastructure • Developer of the park will be eligible for exemption from payment of stamp duty on purchase of land for the park *.
