Need
•Coaching is needed to assure continuous improvement in
performance of KST roles at levels that support consistent high
performance
Purpose
•Coaching of individual KST members is for the purpose of providing
support and assisting the individual in fulfilling consistent high
performance, learning and enjoyment
Use
•Coaching plans are shared with the Assessor and used to update the
KST members learning plan.
KSCT Coaching
Coaching Plan
• The coaching plan should include:
Data points, assessment and debrief notes provided by the KSCT
Assessor
Clear identification of strengths and weaknesses impacting the KS
team member’s ability to perform roles and responsibilities
Action plan to maximize strength and minimize weakness to
achieve excellence (learning plan)
Identification of coaching points, activities, timelines and results for
achieving excellence (learning plan)
Periodic phone calls, meetings and observation of KST members at
training's and re-certifications to review progress.

Implementing the Coaching Plan
Initial review with KST member to obtain agreement on the plan
and timelines
Have periodic phone calls, meetings and observation of KST
member at training's and re-certifications to review progress
Keep the learning in the hands of the learners... don’t solve
problems for them
Ask questions to provoke increased awareness, self trust and
clarity of choice
Encouragement
Acknowledgment of progress and results
Contingencies

Share Results with Team
•Share lessons learned that are beneficial for other KST and KSCT
members as appropriate.

KSCT Coaching Need •Coaching is needed to assure continuous improvement in performance of KST roles at levels that support consistent high performance Purpose •Coaching of individual KST members is for the purpose of providing support and assisting the individual in fulfilling consistent high performance, learning and enjoyment Use •Coaching plans are shared with the Assessor and used to update the KST members learning plan.

KSCT Coaching Coaching Plan • The coaching plan should include: Data points, assessment and debrief notes provided by the KSCT Assessor Clear identification of strengths and weaknesses impacting the KS team member’s ability to perform roles and responsibilities Action plan to maximize strength and minimize weakness to achieve excellence (learning plan) Identification of coaching points, activities, timelines and results for achieving excellence (learning plan) Periodic phone calls, meetings and observation of KST members at training's and re-certifications to review progress.

KSCT Coaching Implementing the Coaching Plan Initial review with KST member to obtain agreement on the plan and timelines Have periodic phone calls, meetings and observation of KST member at training's and re-certifications to review progress Keep the learning in the hands of the learners... don’t solve problems for them Ask questions to provoke increased awareness, self trust and clarity of choice Encouragement Acknowledgment of progress and results Contingencies
