Job Summary
Oversee COMPANY’s operations at the regional level
Manage the overall operating budget
Key Responsibilities/Duties
Contribute to the development and refining of COMPANY strategic vision as well as its mission
and values
Communicate COMPANY vision across the company and ensure awareness and dissemination
of the
strategic direction
Develop the Regional Operations strategy and communicate it across the department to ensure
vertical alignment and horizontal integration with COMPANY strategy
Develop the change management strategy and plans and ensure the proper implementation
across the department and provide guidance for continuous improvement as needed
Lead the department, through providing leadership, encouraging teamwork and facilitating
related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and staff
pride in performance and contribution
Approve the department budget and oversee the development and proper implementation of
budgets and manpower plans
Champion and lead the process of effective department manpower planning including
recruiting, training, developing and enhancing capabilities of staff; adopting and implementing
relevant HR best practices and ensuring a high level of employee engagement and motivated
work environment and give directions based on performance appraisal results to maximize the
department performance
Lead the annual assessment of his / her direct reports
Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team
2. Participate in management committees and Board meetings to provide advice and insights for
various decisions
Oversee, manage and evaluate the performance of all reporting Regional Offices
Monitor the implementation of the strategic and business plans and annual budget across
regional offices to ensure that projects/facility management are on track, targets are
met,revenue flows are maximized, and fixed costs are minimized
Regularly review KPI target attainment for all regional operations of COMPANY and provide
strategic
course correction in a timely manner
Ensure development and implementation of appropriate policies and procedures across
regional offices to meet COMPANY’s objectives and comply with relevant regulations
Review progress reports submitted by Regional Offices
Manage communications between regional offices departments and central departments
Ensure that projects and facilities management are on track in all Regional Offices and escalate
issues as needed to the CEO
Manage the overall operating budget
Provide expert support to the CEO and top management team, within the functions, areas of
expertise, to facilitate effective decision taking on business critical issues/initiatives
Support Corporate functions in management of their objectives and responsibilities
Identify and communicate the best practice technologies and processes within the company
and Industry to enhance the performance of regional offices
Communicate COMPANY vision across the unit and ensure awareness and dissemination of the
strategic objectives
Develop the unit strategy and identify opportunities for improvement by interacting with key
functions
Oversee the development and maintenance of all policies, procedures and control systems
related to the unit
Perform any other duties as determined by the CEO and the Board of Directors
Required Education, Experience and Competencies
Education
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Management
MBA or Master’s Degree in a closely related field would be desirable
3. Experience
A minimum of 20 years of experience in a real estate development company, at least 12 years of
which should be at a senior management level in a large company
Experience in supervising multiple sites is highly recommended
Experience in KSA/MENA markets is highly recommended
Competencies
Ability to coordinate and oversee various functions in different sites concurrently
Ability to synthesize complex or diverse data from various progress reports
Demonstrated skills in leadership and management
A track record of leadership and achieving results in past employment
Strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills
Very good relationship building and interpersonal skills
