3. Our school is in Vilanova i la Geltrú, we are near
the beach, we're on the street: Anselm Clavé.
'Escola Pia' is a school of primary, secondary and
senior. Our school is very big and has 4 or 5 floors.
we have our own antique desk, our playground is
always clean because of the birds. We have 2
buildings. our school has people from almost every
continent. We have a project called 'Agenda 21'
which consists in recycling and environment
4. • The Green Delegate is a student that goes
to meetings and speaks on topics to
improve the environment. After, in class, he
or she talks about topics that they have
talked about and those approved. At the
end of the course all Green delegates of
Catalonia meet in the village of Santa
Margarida dels Monjos, where they exhibit
a PowerPoint about what they do in school.

6. The Agenda 21 project logo
Last year we chose our own logo for the
Agenda 21 project in school. Students had
the opportunity to participate in a drawing
competition and was chosen from among
other. We use the winner as our logo.

7. What do we need to do?
As our school can improve, it requires the collaboration of
all the people.
• Take the breakfast in a taper.
• Put some ornamental plants.
• Having a plan to recycle paper. Print on both sides.
• Collect batteries.
• Recycle plastic bags.
• Recycle all the old books : they will be reused for the next year so we
won't have to buy them .

9. Recycle
We have a wastebasket to recycle paper, it is of cardboard. All
classes have one .
In the playground we have three types of wastebasket:
- yellow for plastic
• brown for organic residues
• gray for residues that can`t
recycle.
10. Re-use:
-We have a box of cardboard where we put papers that we have used
only one face to re-use for notes or anything.
-The books of history and mathematics are of the school and are for the
following courses.
-In arts we use reusable material.
Reduce:
-We do things in the computer to have to spend neither ink nor paper.
This way we remember...
11. Campaign of Senegal
Our school raised money to give it to Senegal and they
can buy material of school. We make a piggy with a
recycled material. We made a piggy's Bob Sponge, a
piggy's globe, a piggy's rocket...
12. We collected food (spaghetti, rice, milk...), toys and
books to give to Senegal too.
13. Later the girl/boy made a postcard for us (all the
class) and she/he says:
“Thank you for the money and to help me, I am
happy, because now I go to school, I have more
food and material for school.”
14. Treball de síntesi
• What is treball de síntesi?
Treball de síntesi is a project in groups. This
project is done by all high school students. In 1
of ESO, last year we went to Garraf Natural
Park.
15. Agenda 21 in Treball de
síntesi
• In Garraf Natural Park, they explained the
relation of Agenda 21 with treball de síntesi.
In the park, they recycle very much. There are
garbage bins every 100 metres. You mustn´t
take anything out of the park. If you take
anything of there, you´ll have to pay a fine.

16. Agenda 21 in Treball de Síntesi
Last year the 2 ESO students took a trip: to a natural park and we want to talk you
about el Pantà de Foix ( it's a swamp).And we will explain you where you can find it
and were it’s situated, you can find it in Castellet del Llobregat ,there’s also a castle
right nex to el panta and it’s really hot. And you can find a lot water people say that al
night when there’s full moon you can see her spirit in one the windows of the castle.
In the next slide we are showing an image of the swamp, so you have an idea what
we are atalking about.
18. Agenda 21 Treball de Síntesi
• The third year of secondary school students went
to “Planes de Son”, to do a field trip: the synthesis
project (work of synthesis)
• This project is to study treatment plants, animals
and natural park.
19. WHERE IS “PLANES DE SON”?
• "Planes de Son" is north of Catalonia between
Vall D' Aran and Andorra.
