NOTAS ORTOGRÁFICAS
 Nos verbos terminados em e, substitui-se essa letra por ing:
HAVE => HAVING LIVE => LIVING WIRITE => WIRITING
Mas isso não acontece com be e os verbos terminados em ie:
BE => BEING DIE => DYING LIE => LYING TIE => TYING
 Nos verbos de uma silaba (ou duas, desde que a última seja a sílaba tônica), terminados
em uma sequencia consoante-vogal-consoante, dobra-se a consoante final antes de se
acrescentar ing:
RUN => RUNNING STOP => STOPPING SWIM => SWIMMING
BEGIN => BEGINNING PREFER => PREFERRING OCCUR => OCCORRING
Mas quando a sílaba tônica do verbo for a primeira isso não ocorre:
