Area 35000 sqm + 10000 sqm.
Description This is a industrial complex for Siemens Windpower in Hull, where the
company is going to built blades, turbines and other equipment for
offshore wind energy projects. It is composed by two warehouses (Blade
Factory and Offshore), the offices and the loading bays.
I worked one year in the Stage 4 and Stage 5 phases of this project.

Wefulfilledthemaximumqualitystandardforawarehouse
inEurope,whichledtoanimprovementontheproductivity

10. Inthisassignment,theclientownedaflatincentre
Madrid,withconcretestructureandoldfashionedfinishes,
andloadwallsthatblockedtheentranceofnaturallighttothe
interior.
Thelayoutwascompletelymodified,creatinganewcurvedwall
thatsegregatedthemainbedroomfromthesecondaryones,
andenfoldedthewetrooms.Newopeningswheremadealsoandenfoldedthewetrooms.Newopeningswheremadealso
intheloadwallstoimprovethenaturallightentrance.

lightcoloursandindirectlighting.

11. Inthisassignment,therewasaflatlocatedina
century-oldbuildinginthecentreofBeasain,Gipuzkoa,
whosestateshowedalackofmaintenancebothinthe
furnishing,finishesandevenstructure.Ontopofthat,
theconfigurationofthehousehold,verynarrowanddeep,
madeitdifficulttogetnaturallighttoeveryspace.Ifoundthatthe
woodenframewasinaadvancedstateofrot,whichobligedtowoodenframewasinaadvancedstateofrot,whichobligedto
areinforcementwithsteelbeams.
Thefinallayoutwantedtobesimple,withbiglinesthat
configuredthespaces,andreductionofthenumberoflightblocking
elements(suchaswalls,doorsandfurniture)toaminimum.

12. Thisisaproposalforaninternationalideascompetition
forthesanitationandrestructuringofTajoRiver´sbasin,
inhispassagethroughToledo´sprovince(Spain).
Themainchallengewastofindasinglegesturethatwould
becomeasolutionbothforsmall,mediumandbigactuations,
duetothehugescaleofthesite(30kmperbank)andthe
finesseofalowerscaleactionwhiletheriverembracedfinesseofalowerscaleactionwhiletheriverembraced
theCityofToledo.Theshapechosenwasthecircle,thesame
circlethanthecrops,whichwasusedbothtodesignlandscapes,
urbanism,buildingsandevencityfurniture,loweringthescalein
eachstep,andcreatingahugefractalstructure.

buildingplotof100.000sqmOurproposalconsistedonaprismshaped
building,withasingulartranslucentskinmadeofatraditionalArabpattern,
whichmadethebuildingtobealiveandchanging.Thenightdiscovers
thedifferentshoppingmodulesinsidethemall,whichtransformsthefaçade
intoabigshowcase.
Also,duetothesandynatureoftheground,wechosetomovetheparkingAlso,duetothesandynatureoftheground,wechosetomovetheparking
plottotheroof,architectonicgesturewhoserampdividestheprisminadramatic
way,asagiantbrokenstone.

duetothelackofspaceinthisdenseBasquecity.ThefamousNervión
river,andits“Ría”,wastheplaceselectedforafloatingbuilding,
abuildingthatwouldhostmultipleuseslikeyouthhostels,alibrary,
rehearsalroomsformusicalgroupsandtheatre,andaoutdoorconcert
stage,withitsbleachers.
